Damp Leaking Basement Waterproofed in Minneapolis, MN

A homeowner in Minneapolis, MN, was concerned when he noticed multiple signs of water damage in his basement. Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Jason S., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Jason explained to the homeowner that a failed footing drain is likely the reason for the homeowner's water issues. When this fails, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation and enters through cracks on the walls, between the footing and the wall, or beneath the footing. To fix this issue, Jason recommended WaterGuard, our drainage system that collects water at the perimeter of the basement and effectively sends it to the sump pump, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the sump pump discharge pipes freeze. After reviewing Jason's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to his recommendations and scheduled the installation date.

In about a month, our Foreman, Jeremiah F., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed 39ft of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the room. Then, they installed 1 SuperSump+ and 1 IceGuard in a separate room. After they were done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
