Moldy, Damp Basement Waterproofed in Eau Claire, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Eau Claire, WI, found several wet cement slabs throughout their basement. Anxious that water is sneaking into their home, the homeowner wanted to have this issue resolved. The homeowner looked into "basement leak repair," and the first company to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate, then we sent Dustin, one of our Design Specialists, to take a closer look.

Solution

Once Dustin arrived, he began a thorough inspection of the water-damaged basement. After taking a closer look, Dustin confirmed the basement was suffering from water intrusion. To prevent this issue from worsening, Dustin recommended installing several waterproofing products throughout the basement. The homeowner agreed, then they worked with Dustin to find the best installation date. When the project installation date arrived, our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Juan and his crew installed WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Then, Juan and his crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
