Challenge

After a heavy rainstorm, a homeowner in Kellogg, MN, noticed standing water throughout their basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner looked up "who to call for a basement leak?". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist.

Solution

The Design Specialist promptly arrived and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the evaluation, the Design Specialist confirmed that the basement was in desperate need of repair. The Design Specialist recommended installing several waterproofing products throughout the basement. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with the Design Specialist to find the best installation date. Once the best installation date was picked, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. A few weeks later, Raul and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Raul and his crew secured the WaterGuard, our perimeter drain system. Once the WaterGuard system was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work.
