Wanamingo, MN, Wet Damaged Basement Repaired

Challenge

Following a series of thunderstorms, a homeowner in Wanamingo, MN, noticed standing water throughout their basement. Worried this was a sign of a larger issue, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner began looking to "who to call for a basement leak," and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate.

Solution

Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home to complete a thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Ryan confirmed that the basement needed to be fully waterproofed. The homeowner agreed and worked with Ryan to schedule the project. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kiko and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls and installed the Aprilaire. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
