A homeowner in Bloomington, MN, had grown concerned when they noticed a musty smell in the basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner began looking into it and learned they may be facing a wet basement. The homeowner then contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.

Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Brian R., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the basement. He tested the humidity levels and learned they were higher than normal. He also took a look around the basement for signs of water intrusion and tested the sump pump. After the inspection, he created a proposal to the homeowner recommending WaterGuard, our drainage system that collects water at the perimeter of the basement and sends it to the sump pump, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that prevents water vapor from permeating the walls, Zoeller pump, a reliable pump capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in sub-zero temperatures. After looking over Brian's proposal, the homeowner knew his recommendations were the best choice for his basement issue and decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Gabriel R., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed 33ft of CleanSpace and WaterGuard, 1 Zoeller pump, and 1 IceGuard. After the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
