Damp Basement Waterproofed in Rochester, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Rochester, MN, noticed their basement was damp in several areas. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner looked into "wet basement contractors near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ryan. A few days later, Ryan arrived at the home to begin the thorough inspection.

Solution

During the inspection, Ryan confirmed that several areas were suffering from water intrusion. To prevent this issue from worsening, Ryan recommended installing several waterproofing products throughout the basement. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Ryan's suggestions. Next, the homeowner worked with Ryan to find the best installation date for the crew. Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Arturo and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe sump pump. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement wall. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their products and left the home.
