Challenge
Following a series of heavy thunderstorms, a homeowner in Marshall, MN, noticed water damage and stains throughout their basement. A few years prior, the homeowner had American Waterworks out to their home to secure a buried discharge line, so they called our Appointment Center and scheduled a Service Appointment. A few days later, our Service Technician, Edgar, traveled to the home to take a closer look.
Solution
Edgar promptly arrived at the home and began the detailed inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Edgar noted water was leaking down the walls. To prevent these issues from worsening, Edgar recommended securing WaterGuard along the basement perimeters. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Edgar to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Luis, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Luis and his crew dug channels to place the WaterGuard, our innovative below-ground waterproofing system. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to cleaning up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
