Uneven Concrete Patio Gets Lifted in Austin, MN

An Austin, MN, homeowner was beginning the initial process of getting his home ready to sell. However, he knew he had a few things to fix up before he could get the most value for his home. One major project was the uneven concrete patio that sat just beyond his back door. He knew that the sinking, uneven concrete was an eyesore and the cause of numerous trip hazards. He decided to look for an MN concrete repair company. When he found our website he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brad W, was heading out to the home.

Brad conducted a thorough inspection of the home and sunken area of concrete. When he concluded his estimate, he informed the homeowner we could assist in restoring the concrete with the help of our PolyLevel. He explained that PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill the voids left over by soil erosion and, in the process, slowly lifts the sunken concrete back into place. Brad then went on to say that, once the concrete had been lifted, he recommended the use of our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to all cracks and joints in the sunken concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below, as it was specially designed to stand up against harsh weather conditions.  The homeowner liked the sound of Brad's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the project, one of our concrete teams, led by our Foreman, Dylon V, were able to lift, level, and seal the concrete in no time. Now our customer can prepare his home for the market!

Sunken Concrete Stairs Restored in Austin, MN

A homeowner from Austin, MN, had been dealing with a sinking front step for a few years, but had recently learned that uneven concrete can drag down the resale value of the home. Figuring they should get in front of the problem, the homeowner decided to find a concrete raising specialist in Minnesota. When he found our website, he was impressed with our work and positive reviews, so he claimed his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nathan C, headed out to the home. When Nathan arrived, he got right to work measuring the concrete to see how badly it had sunk. When he finished, he met with the homeowner. He informed him that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons, and that we could fix it using our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution to restore the stairs. Nathan explained that PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, slowly lifting the slabs back to their original state. Nathan went on to say that once the concrete had been leveled, he would recommend the application of our NexusPro a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry out. That means a single application can seal the joints and cracks in your concrete driveway, patio, or sidewalk for years to come, protecting it from damage caused by soil compaction and washout. The homeowner was thrilled with Nathan's plan and decided to move forward with the job.

Several weeks later, our Foreman, Sam K, and his team were headed out to the home to restore the concrete. Once the job was done, the homeowner was thrilled with the new and improved look of his concrete!

Wyllie R. in Wayzata, MN had a concrete driveway that was sinking. It had already sunk about two inches below the garage concrete slabs and it was getting worse over time. PolyLevel is a durable, faster and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair. Wyllie was pleased with the result and how quick the process was.
