Diane B. in Sparta, WI contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She noticed her garage floor was uneven, and she feared the problem was only going to get worse. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Brian Ramirez, to meet with Diane and evaluate the situation. After his inspection, Brian recommended our Foundation Push Pier System to provide a permanent solution to her settlement issue.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew started the installation by excavating the soil surrounding the home where the foundation had started settling until they reached the bottom of the footings. Then, they secured brackets under the footings and inserted the piers until they hit competent, supportive soil. The piers transfer the weight of the home to the supportive soil, preventing further settlement. The crew wrapped up the project with installing our frost protection system to protect against frost damage. Then, they replaced the soil and cleaned up their work area. Diane was happy she chose to invest in the stability of her home, and we are glad we could restore her peace of mind!
A homeowner from Norwalk, WI, had been monitoring his garage for some time. Over the years, he had noticed the formation of several cracks in the foundation. The cracks had progressed so much that the homeowner could tell the wall was beginning to bow inward. He knew he had to act fast to save his garage so he began to look for WI foundation repair. On the recommendation of a local contractor, he was directly to us. He signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist headed out to the home.
Our Design Specialist got right to work assessing the space. When he finished, he informed the homeowner that he was experiencing structural issues due to excess force being pushed on the wall from the side. He went on to say that he wanted to use our Channel Anchors to address the issue. GeoLock® Channel Anchors are a versatile, effective system that can stabilize walls that are bowing, tipping, pushing in at the bottom, tilting in at the top, or showing similar signs of failure. They are installed with minimal disturbance to your lawn and landscaping, often in a day or less. The homeowner liked the sound of our plan, and scheduled the job on the spot.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jesus C, led his team through the successful installation of Channel Anchors throughout the basement. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing that his foundation is stable!
Jack and Marie R. of Cornell, WI had bowing walls near the staircase going into their basement. This made them worry about the structural support of their house. They got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck inspected Jack and Marie's foundation, proposed the solution of our Wall Anchor System, and answered all of their questions. After a thorough inspection and discussion, Jack and Marie decided to move forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Chri Newton, and his production crew installed four of our Wall Anchors. Our Wall Anchors are designed to stabilize basement walls, providing the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost of replacement. This system is the most versatile wall repair method because it stabilizes walls with a variety of problems, whether the walls are bowing, tipping, or pushing in at the bottom. Wall Anchors extend out to the stable soil beyond the home, anchoring themselves there and straightening the foundation wall. Jack and Marie were happy with the work that was completed and had a great experience with our team from start to finish!

James from Stanley, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice the walls of his shed were beginning to show signs of cracking, indicating wall failure. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would face more serious wall failure down the road or water intrusion from the cracks. We set him up with our FREE estimate when he called our office. A few weeks after the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Chuck, headed out to the property to see what could be done to help fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he had a few recommendations. First, he wanted to use our Geo-Lock Channel Anchors and GeoLock Anchors to fix the cracking wall. He explained to James that our wall anchors are designed to be quick, with minimal disturbance to your home or landscaping. He went on to say that the Channel Anchors would immediately stabilize walls pushing in at the bottom by connecting to an earth anchor embedded in the soil. He then said that our GeoLock anchors help the bowing walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Matt, and his crew ended up installing 4 channel anchors as well as 13 of our GeoLock anchors around the perimeter of the shed as well as an unattached boathouse. Now James can have peace of mind knowing his shed's foundation will be stable for years to come.
