A nervous homeowner in Wimbledon, ND, hoped to stabilize their home properly. After comparing many companies, American Waterworks stood apart from the rest. The homeowner contacted us and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Ian, to examine the current status of the home's structure. Ian recommended stabilizing the foundation and putting in a supplemental beam. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowners agreed with Ian's recommendations, and the plan was put into action. Our crew traveled out to the property and started by installing nine SmartJacks along the main beam. The SmartJacks were placed approximately six feet apart. Additionally, a seven-foot-long supplemental beam was installed on the north wall. The homeowner was impressed with the efficient job done by the crew. With the comfort of knowing their floors are permanently stabilized, the homeowners are thankful for the work done by American Waterworks. Ryan and Rachel W. of Arco, MN had a bowing foundation wall, causing them to worry about the safety and stability of their house. They did some research online and came across American Waterworks on Google. After looking through our services, Ryan and Rachel got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist inspected their foundation wall and determined the causes of why their wall was bowing inward, so he proposed our Wall Anchor Repair System. Our wall anchors stabilize foundation walls and bring them back to their original position.
Our Foreman and his production team started the installation by digging small holes beyond the foundation. From the interior foundation, our team inserted long, metal rods from the inside to the outside to where the holes were dug. Our team screwed on and tightened an anchor to the end of each rod, extending out to the compacted soil beyond their home, anchored themselves there, and braced the foundation wall. To complete the installation, our team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and ensured the yard was neater than when they found it.
At American Waterworks, we do more than just foundation repair. We also perform services in basement waterproofing, radon testing/mitigation, crawl space repair/encapsulation, and concrete repair/lifting. Call us today or click HERE to request your free estimate!

Ray L. in Worthington, MN was concerned about two large cracks from the top of the foundation to the bottom on one wall in his home. While researching foundation repair options, he contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, to his home to inspect the foundation and provide Ray with a solution.
Ray was happy with Dylan’s proposal and the PowerBrace™ Wall Repair System that we offer. He set a date with our production crew to install the adjustable steel I-beam system which stabilized the tilting wall and over time will force the wall sections back to their original position. The PowerBraces do not require outside excavation, so it is less invasive than other foundation repair options. It’s anti-corrosion zinc coating will keep them looking like new for decades to come!

John S. of Worthington, MN had a bucking foundation wall, causing water to leak through it and make his basement wet. He went online and saw that American Waterworks provides free estimates. He called our office line and scheduled an appointment with our Design Specialist team. Our Design Specialist went to his house, carefully inspected his problems, and drew out a solution that worked for him and his needs. John was comfortable with the proposal and felt confident in our products, so he went ahead with the installation.
Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water and mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity and acts as an extra wall protectant. Lastly, our Foreman and his crew installed our PowerBraces around the wall perimeter on top of the CleanSpace. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls, providing the potential to straighten them over time. To complete the installation, our production team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. John was ecstatic with the repairs and had a great experience with our team from start to finish!
