Our Design Specialist inspected their foundation wall and determined the causes of why their wall was bowing inward, so he proposed our Wall Anchor Repair System. Our wall anchors stabilize foundation walls and bring them back to their original position. 

Our Foreman and his production team started the installation by digging small holes beyond the foundation. From the interior foundation, our team inserted long, metal rods from the inside to the outside to where the holes were dug. Our team screwed on and tightened an anchor to the end of each rod, extending out to the compacted soil beyond their home, anchored themselves there, and braced the foundation wall. To complete the installation, our team backfilled each hole, compacted the soil, and ensured the yard was neater than when they found it.

A homeowner in Fargo, ND, saw the walls in their basement were beginning to crack. Worried about the long-term damages, the homeowner began looking into professional repair services near them. First, the crew installed eight GeoLock Wall Anchors along the North and West wall. Once the GeoLocks were secured, the crew shifted their focus to installing the two PowerBraces on the North wall. After the PowerBraces were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. John S. of Worthington, MN had a bucking foundation wall, causing water to leak through it and make his basement wet. He went online and saw that American Waterworks provides free estimates. He called our office line and scheduled an appointment with our Design Specialist team. Our Design Specialist went to his house, carefully inspected his problems, and drew out a solution that worked for him and his needs. John was comfortable with the proposal and felt confident in our products, so he went ahead with the installation. 

Our Foreman and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water and mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity and acts as an extra wall protectant. Lastly, our Foreman and his crew installed our PowerBraces around the wall perimeter on top of the CleanSpace. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls, providing the potential to straighten them over time. To complete the installation, our production team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. John was ecstatic with the repairs and had a great experience with our team from start to finish! 

A homeowner in Balaton, MN, was down in her basement doing laundry when she noticed the large cracks forming along her basement walls. Worried that it could worsen, she began her research for services in the area. She found our website and was impressed with our reviews and "Before and After" stories. She immediately contacted us and claimed her FREE estimate. In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Eric H. traveled to the home to assess the foundation. 

Eric had informed the homeowner that the moisture content of the soil caused it to expand and put pressure on the wall. When that pressure exceeds what the wall can withstand, it is common to see cracking, bowing, tilting inwards, and sliding at the bottom of the foundation wall. Eric suggested our PowerBrace, steel-I beams that will stabilize walls in their current position. The PowerBrace is customized to fit the height of the wall. Then, the top of each brace is attached to the top of the wall using a specially designed bracket that is bolted to the floor joist. This bracket contains a large-diameter bolt for adjusting and tightening after the installation. The steel-I beam is then straightened before it is attached to the floor. Once it is attached to the floor, the brackets that anchor each I-beam to a floor are tightened. This forces a tilted or bowed wall back to its vertical and straight position. It can also be tightened over time to make bowing or tilting walls straighter. The homeowner was thankful for Eric's explanation and solution and agreed to his plan.

In about a month, our Foreman, Jeremiah F., and his team arrived at the home to install 11 PowerBrace's in the basement of the home. Now, our customer can happily do her laundry, knowing that her walls are secured.
