In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by digging a hole several feet away from the foundation. Then, earth anchors are placed and connected to the interior wall plate using a small steel pole. Once these are connected and tightened, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home. A homeowner in Devils Lake, ND, was concerned that the cracks in their garage foundation were spreading. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner began looking into repair options near them. Unsure where to begin, the homeowner started by looking at foundation repair companies in Fargo, ND. Our production Foreman, Corey, and his team began the installation by digging small holes outside of the home beyond the foundation and inserted a long, metal rod from the inside of the basement to each hole. At the ends of each rod beyond the foundation, our team installed an anchor plate, which holds the rod in place in the soil. Next, our crew screwed on and installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the end of each rod, stabilizing and straightening the foundation wall. To complete the installation, our crew backfilled each hole and replaced the soil, ensuring the yard was neater than when they found it. Jodi was happy with the installation and had a great experience from start to finish!
