Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Larry and Sandy S. in Twin Lakes, MN did some research on the American Waterworks website after they came across cracked foundation walls in their basement. They filled out our online FREE Estimate form, so we sent out our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, to inspect the walls and come up with a solution to support their home. Larry and Sandy were confident with Mac's proposal, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production team began the installation by digging 13 holes outside of the home and inserting a long, medal rod in each hole from the exterior soil to the interior foundation. Next, our team screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor on the end of each rod to secure and straighten the wall into its natural position. Lastly, Jesus and his crew backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. Larry and Sandy were grateful we were able to restore the structual integrity and value of their home! 

A homeowner in Winger, MN, grew concerned regarding the crumbling foundation outside their home. Knowing this could lead to a larger issue, the homeowner wanted to have a foundation expert provide a solution for them. The homeowners reached out to American Waterworks and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Kole, to evaluate the status of their foundation. Kole completed the in-depth inspection and determined the wall was deteriorating. To salvage the wall, Kole suggested the wall be restored with our wall restoration system. The homeowner agreed and the crew was assigned to complete the restoration. Our Foreman and his crew traveled to the home and began the preparations. First, they removed the deteriorated sections along the walls. Then, they installed wire mesh and wall recovered concrete walls to build them back up. The wall was smoothed to give a finished look. The homeowners were happy that their foundation wall was restored and the risk of failure was eliminated. American Waterworks is glad to stabilize another home's foundation. 

A homeowner from Red Lake Falls, MN, was walking across their main level floor one day when they noticed a slight sag to the floor. Upon inspection, the naked eye could see that the floor was indeed uneven. The homeowner was worried about what this could mean for the structural integrity of the home. One night, he saw one of our TV ads informing him that we specialize in fixing failing foundations. He decided to schedule his FREE inspection, and several weeks later, Ian S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.

Ian got right to work assessing the space. When he completed it, he informed the homeowner that we could address the problem using our SmartJack system. Our SmartJack system provides soil support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists. Once installed, this system can correct problems such as sloping, overfly spring floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Due to it's modern design, SmartJacks can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary. The homeowner liked the sound of Ian's plan, and signed on the spot. 

When the installation day rolled around, our Foreman, RJ L, led his team through the successful installation of 4 of our SmartJacks throughout the basement. Now, our customer is thrilled to know that his foundation worries are in the past! 

A customer from Mahnomen, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his basement wall was beginning to bow inwards, showing signs of wall failure. He feared that if he left the issue untreated, he could run the risk of severely compromising the structural integrity of the home. When he called our Appointment Center, they set him up with our FREE estimate, which entitled him to a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to complete his inspection. Once concluded, he made his recommendations to the homeowner. Because of the nature of the wall, Kole recommended they use our GeoLock wall anchors to correct the situation. He informed them that our anchors will permanently stabilize the foundation wall by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. He went on to say that, once installed, the anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the wall. The customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Production crew, led by our Foreman Raul, ended up installing 4 of our wall anchors throughout the basement of the home. Once the job was complete, the homeowner was happy to know that the structure of his home was fixed! 

A homeowner in Mason City, IA, discovered large horizontal cracks on their foundation walls. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner decided they wanted a professional to take a look. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner asked their neighbors if they had any recommendations. The neighbor recommended working with us, American Waterworks. One of our Design Specialists, Eric, was sent to complete the estimate in the home. Eric arrived at the home to begin the basement analysis. After he inspected the basement, Eric discovered that the cracks were caused by hydrostatic pressure. To stop the walls from bowing in further, Eric suggested the walls be permanently stabilized with GeoLocks, our innovative wall anchoring system. After thinking about their options, the homeowner agreed with Eric's suggestions. The plans were assigned to our Formean, Crescencio, and his crew. When the crew arrived, they began by mapping out where the 10 GeoLocks would be secured. Then, they began installing four GeoLocks on the west and six GeoLocks on the north foundation wall. Once the GeoLocks were properly secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was at ease knowing their foundation was saved from possible failure.
