Darlene P. of Watkins, MN had a deteriorating foundation wall, and she didn't like the appearance of it from the outside of her home. She got in contact with our office and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas. Dylan went to her home, inspected her foundation wall, and proposed the solution of our Wall Recovery System, known as ShotLock. Darlene got all of her questions answered about the product, so she went ahead with the installation.
Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production team sprayed our ShotLock around the foundation wall perimeter. Our ShotLock is a spray-on solution that offers a fast alternative to demolish and rebuild a deteriorating foundation. It is faster and less costly than a foundation replacement and provides a permanent and full warranty. Darlene was happy with the work and had a good experience!
Craig F. of Richmond, MN had sagging floors in his lake home, and he wanted to get them lifted to prevent any further settlement. The reason for this was because he was using wood for the home to sit on. One of his peers referred American Waterworks so our team installed 13 of our SmartJacks. Our SmartJacks are made to stabilize and provide a solid support for sagging and undersized floor joists. Craig was so happy with the work and felt as if he was no longer bouncing around throughout his lake home!

Bruce A. in Le Sueur, MN noticed that the apartment he was living in was starting to sink. After further investigation, he realized the foundation was settling, so he asked his property manager what the best course of action would be. They got in touch with American Waterworks to learn more about foundation repair and receive a FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialist's to inspect the apartment complex and he determined that installing piers was the best option to repair the foundation.
Our crew removed the concrete in the garage and under specific areas in the home and dug out the soil. They placed piers under the foundation and drilled them deep into the soil until they hit competent, supporting soil. The installation took a couple of days, but now the property management company will never have to worry about that foundation failing.

Arik M. in Freeborn, MN had a bowing wall in his garage. He was concerned about the pressure this was putting on his foundation, so he contacted the foundation repair experts at American Waterworks. We sent a Design Specialist to inspect his garage and provide him with a free estimate. After the inspection, our Specialist recommended that we install wall anchors to straighten and stabilize the wall. Arik felt that our solution was the best fit for his needs, so he decided to move forward with the project.
Our crew installed the wall anchors by drilling long, metal rods through the wall and then securing both ends of the rods with anchor plates. Our anchors are designed to install quickly and with minimal disruption to the home and landscaping. They are designed with galvanized steel, which allows for long-term corrosion resistance. Arik’s peace of mind has been restored knowing that his foundation wall is now permanently secure.
John G. in Janesville, MN wanted to sell his home, but he had a settling foundation. In order to get the best value for his home, he needed to repair his foundation. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his foundation and provide a personalized solution. John was impressed with our products and the warranty behind them, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production crew started the installation by digging out the soil surrounding the home where the foundation was settling. Then, they installed heavy-duty steel brackets below the footing of the foundation. Next, rugged, interlocking steel pier sections are hydraulically driven through the bracket until bedrock or stable soil is reached. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to load-bearing soil. The installation took roughly two days to complete, but now the foundation of John’s home is permanently stabilized, and it is ready to be put on the market!
