Shirley of Kasson, MN noticed that there was a crack on the exterior side of her foundation wall that was caused by the bowing of the wall. Shirley began to worry about the structural integrity of her home and contacted the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim her FREE estimate, entitling her to a free home inspection to resolve the issue Shirley is experiencing. Once an appointment was scheduled and set our Design Specialist headed out to Shirley's property and began a thorough home inspection to get a proper diagnosis of the home and provide the best solution that would prevent any other issues from arising. He proposed to Shirley that the best solution would be to invest in our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Our Anchor System is made to stabilize the foundation by anchoring walls to hard compact soil beyond the foundation, pulling the wall back to its original position. Shirley agreed with the proposal and scheduled the date of installation.  Once set our Foreman, Raul, and his team arrived at the scene they began by digging three small holes on the inside of the garage. Once dug, the production crew drilled a metal rod through the exterior of the problem wall to each designated hole. Attached at the end of the rod is a GeoLock Wall Anchor which could be tightened to further stabilize the wall. When the wall anchors have been installed the crew then backfilled the holes inside the garage and poured concrete over the holes to provide a more finishing look. Shirley was happy with the installation and is now worry-free that her foundation is in danger.

A homeowner in New Hampton, IA, knew it was time to have their cracked, unstable walls repaired. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their neighbors for recommendations. Their neighbors recommended working with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our company. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Brady, one of our Design Specialists. After Brady arrived at the home, he began the thorough walk-through of the basement. Brady found that the walls were showing early signs of wall failure. To stop the failure from continuing, Brady recommended installing several wall stabilizing products. The homeowner agreed with Brady's proposal, so he sent the plans to our Logistics team for approval. After the plans were approved, they were assigned to our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew to begin. Jesus and his crew traveled to New Hampton and began the installation. First, Jesus and his crew began by installing 16 PowerBraces along all the walls. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing three Carbon Armor strips on the wall. Finally, the crew installed seven SmartJacks on the walls. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their walls were properly secured and stable.
