She got in touch with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad. Chad inspected Katie's bowing wall and proposed our wall anchor system for the solution. Katie got all of her questions answered, so she moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Dylon V., and his crew installed six of our wall anchors to stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. The nice thing about this system is it can be tightened with a torque wrench over time by the homeowner to ensure it's sticking to its design. Katie said our crew did a very good job, the communication was great, and she was overall thrilled with the entire project. 

Terry H. of Merrifield, MN was having sagging floors problems that were sloping into their crawl space. They wanted someone to come out and give them an estimate on the repairs. Our Design Specialist, Richie, went to Terry's home and proposed our Crawl Space Support Posts, which are designed to restore the stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. Terry was confident in the product, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Cameron, and his production team installed nine of our support posts throughout their crawl space, correcting the sloping and overly springy floors. The project took two days and Terry was happy with the experience that they had!

A homeowner in St. Paul, MN, noticed their cinder block foundation was beginning to struggle. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner decided that they needed a professional to inspect the status of their basement. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner tried to sift their options using NextDoor. One of the first companies to show up was ours, American Waterworks. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Daniel, one of our Design Specialists. Daniel arrived at the home and began his inspection of the foundation. After completing the estimation, Daniel found that the home was suffering from hydrostatic pressure. To stop the foundation from being affected further, Daniel recommended that PowerBraces be installed on the affected walls. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed and production began. Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew arrived at the home to start production. First, the crew prepared for the PowerBrace installation. The crew installed six PowerBraces along the north wall in the basement. Once the PowerBraces were installed, they left behind a straightening kit. This will allow the walls to straighten over time. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their walls were permanently stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to help out another customer. 

We were contacted by Heather and Cory, two relators out of the St. Paul area, when they had a potential bid for a house, but needed to make some repairs to the foundation before the sale was complete. After contacting us, we set them up with our FREE estimate and sent our Design Specialist, Josh, headed out to the home to assess the damage. After his thorough inspection, he found that both the South and West walls were compromised and needed stabilization. Josh recommended our CarbonArmor solution, which is the cheapest and quickest way to stabilize block and poured concrete walls that show signs of bowing. Our CarbonArmor is a super-strong carbon fiber strap that is attached to the walls in question with epoxy. With their approval, our Foreman, Raul, and his team began the process of determining the best places for the straps. Raul and his team ended up placing 11 total CarbonArmor straps on the South and West walls. Now Heather and Cory can finalize their sale knowing the foundation of their home is stabilized!

Our Foreman, Dylon, and his production team started the installation by installing our 5'-7' SmartJacks, which are made to support sloping and springy floors. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Moisture Barrier in the crawl space, which is made to keep the crawl space dry and protects the space from wood rot or mold. Next, our team installed our 1'-3' SmartJacks in the crawl space, which is very compatible with our vapor barrier because it prevents mold and humidity while also repairing the structure. Next, Dylon and his team applied our spray-on solution called ShotLock around the foundation wall perimeter. Our ShotLock repairs deteriorating walls and it is twice as strong as concrete. Lastly, our team applied new concrete throughout the entire basement floor, which gives the space a neat and clean finish. Daniel was thrilled with the work and had a great experience with our team!
