If you need help lifting your home to its original position, push piers are the right products for you. These piers are mechanically advanced into the soil using small construction equipment. As they are installed, they prevent any future settlement issues.
Eric M. of Park Rapids, MN took his entire boathouse down because his foundation was settling. He wanted to build another one but needed to make sure it had a structural base to build. Our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, worked with him and told him about our helical piers. Eric decided to move forward with Rick's proposal and build his boathouse on top of the pier brackets once installed.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew installed 11 of our Helical Pier Porch Brackets in Eric's desired location. He was very happy with the work and is looking forward to beginning building his boathouse. Overall, rather than replacing an entire house or building, our helical piers are made specifically for home and settlement repairs. In Bemidji, MN a homeowner was looking to make some changes to his cabin before the winter months arrived. His main concern was the foundation landing outside of the side door that had sunken over the years. Wanting to get it fixed, he went online to find a reasonable solution because he wasn't interested in fully replacing it. He looked up foundation repair companies and came across the American Waterworks website. He was impressed with our past work and our FREE no-obligation estimates, so he signed up for his own. We received his request and sent over one of our expert Design Specialists to inspect the foundation. The Design Specialist explained that our HelicalPiers were the perfect solution to stabilize the landing and prevent it from sinking again. The homeowner agreed to the installations and was later greeted by one of our Foremen, Juan Pena, and his crew. They carefully installed the HelicalPiers and made sure the homeowner was happy with the results before leaving the home.

Dale, from Fergus Falls, MN, reached out to us when he began to notice that one of the walls of his basement was beginning to bow inward. Dale knew that a deteriorating foundation was not only dangerous for the household but could potentially harm any resale of the house that might be in the future. Dale used his FREE estimate and our Fargo-based Design Specialist, Ian, was at the property soon after that. When Ian arrived he got to work doing a thorough inspection of the root of the cause, and the severity of the damage and made recommendations as to how we could help Dale restore his wall. Ian reported that the bowing wall was being caused by the soil on the other side of the wall pushing it inward. He recommended Dale take action soon and, based on the bowing wall, was able to recommend our PowerBrace system to correct the issue. Our PowerBrace solution is a system of I-shaped beams that work to stabilize and straighten bowing walls over a period of time.
The Foreman for the project, Zach, and his crew got to work and ended up placing 12 PowerBraces around the perimeter of the basement in an effort to stabilize and straighten the problem wall.
Now Dale can get back to enjoying most of what his home has to offer!
Bob M. of Fergus Falls, MN had a cracked foundation wall in his basement, making him worry about the structural build of his home. He did some research on our website and came across around foundation repair products. He called our office line to set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to Bob's home, examined his foundation wall, and came up with the solution of our GeoLock Wall Anchor System. Bob was confident in Chad's proposal and got all of his questions answered, so he went ahead with an installation date.
Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the process by digging five holes outside of the home and inserting a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside. At the ends of each rod, our team tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor. The wall anchor system permanently stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed, compact soil beyond the foundation. To complete the installation, Brian and his team backfilled each hole, replaced the soil, and made sure the yard looked neater than when they found it. Bob was very satisfied with the project and no longer has to worry about the support of his home.
Keynote for homeowners: After installation, wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten your foundation walls and pull them back to their normal positions.
Bradley S. of Fergus Falls, MN had cracking foundation walls in his basement, and he wanted to get his wall repaired rather than replaced. He saw that American Waterworks provides services in his area, so he got in touch with our office line and set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian. Our Foremen, Ryan and Corey, and their production team began the project by digging smalls holes around the entire perimeter of the home. From the inside of the basement, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside of the foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our team installed an anchor plate, which anchors the rod into the soil. From the inside, our team installed a wall anchor to the end of each rod. The combination of the anchor plate, metal rod, and wall anchor allows the wall to stabilize and straighten back into its original position.
