Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Donald R. in Rochester, MN contacted American Waterworks after he saw one of our commercials on TV. He had cracked and slightly bowing foundation walls, and he was concerned about the structural integrity of his house. He knew how much replacing his foundation entirely could be, and he wanted to fix the problem before it got any worse. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to his home to inspect the situation and develop a unique solution.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew installed 17 CarbonArmor straps along the foundation to reinforce the bowing walls. The CarbonArmor system utilizes epoxy and carbon fiber straps to strengthen and stabilize the foundation walls. The CarbonArmor reinforcement becomes part of the wall structure and can be hidden with a coat of paint. Donald’s foundation has been stabilized, and his peace of mind restored! 

A homeowner from Rochester, MN gave us a call when they noticed his crawl space wall was showing signs of failure. He was afraid that if the issue went unresolved, he would run the risk of compromising the structural integrity of the home. When he called, we set him up with our FREE estimate. Our Foreman, Jose C, and his crew ended up installing 10 of our C-Channels throughout the space. Now our customer no longer needs to worry about foundation issues!

Renae from Redby, MN got in contact with us when she began to notice that the distribution center she worked at was beginning to show signs of sinkage in particular places. She feared that if the issue was left unresolved, the building might become structurally compromised, or be more expensive to fix later down the road. He explained that because the portion being lifted was so small, the helical pier would be the best choice because of its ability to be pulled into the soil during installation, providing anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation is transferred to the pier. He went on to say that the helical pier is very versatile and typically used for lighter loads. Renae agreed and work began a few weeks later. Our Foreman, Cameron, and his crew worked diligently to install 4 of our helical piers around the troubled portion of the foundation. Once the job was completed, Renae was happy to know that she could resume business without worrying about her sinking foundation! 

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, knew it was time to have a professional inspect their bowing and cracked foundation. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked their friends, who had a similar issue, for any recommendations. The friend referred them to work with us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our services. The homeowner was impressed with our work, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent Brady, one of our Design Specialists, to take a closer look. Brady arrived at the home and began his detailed inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Brady discovered the south foundation wall bowing significantly and needed to be permanently stabilized. Brady presented his proposal to the homeowner and they agreed with his plan. Next, Brady passed the proposal to the office to be finalized. Once they were given the final stamp of approval, the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew to begin the project. Raul and his crew traveled to the home and started by installing four GeoLock Wall anchors along the south foundation wall. Once the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, the crew installed 7 CarbonArmor strips along the east and west walls. Once both products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the basement better than they arrived. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing this basement was properly stabilized.
