A homeowner in Roseau, MN had cracked and inward bowing walls in their basement, making them feel uncomfortable living in their own home. They did some research on our website and came across our foundation repair products. They called our office line to learn a bit more and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. After a detailed and thorough diagnosis, the homeowner was comfortable with the proposal, so they moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the project by digging four holes in front of the home. Our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. Next, our crew tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor on the end of each rod in the soil to anchor itself there and brace the foundation wall. Lastly, Matt and his team installed and tightened four of our GeoLock Channel Anchors inside of the foundation wall, which are made to straighten cracking and bowing walls over time. To complete the project, our crew backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. The homeowner was thrilled with the work, and had a great experience!

Our Foreman, Jose C., and his crew installed six of our wall anchors, which are made to repair and stabilize bowing and cracked walls. This anchor-rod installation involves digging out and removing soil, minimal disturbance to landscaping, and soil backfill and compaction. This system can permanently stop inward movement walls and in fact, over time, homeowners can tighten them by themselves to ensure the system is sticking to its design.

A homeowner in Willernie, MN, noticed the walls in their basement were rapidly declining. Instead of letting the issues worsen, the homeowner knew they needed to have it repaired. The homeowner was scrolling through social media when they came across one of our digital foundation advertisements. After looking further into our company, the homeowner was impressed by our high ratings and reviews. The homeowner decided to go to our website and sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate details were finalized, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Rick, one of our Design Specialists. When Rick arrived, he began the evaluation of the foundation and found that the wall was showing signs of early wall failure. To stop the wall from failing further, Rick suggested that the foundation be permanently stabilized. Knowing this was the best option for them, the homeowner agreed and production began. Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the foundation stabilization. When they arrived the crew prepared the walls for the foundation stabilization. Then, the crew installed 12 PowerBraces on the north and south foundation walls. Once the PowerBraces were secured, the crew was able to clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowners were relieved to know their walls were saved from wall failure. American Waterworks is happy to make another home safe and secure.
