Testimonials for American Waterworks

We chose to work with American Waterworks after being referred to them by a friend. The office staff was excellent, easy to work with, and called ahead to confirm our appointments, which was much appreciated! The Design Specialist, Shane, was also excellent! He explained things well, walked us through the process, allowed us time to process, and was available via text when we had questions about the prepwork. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The installation crew, led by Juan, was excellent! All the guys were friendly, worked diligently, answered questions, and were very respectful about protecting our home from dust etc. The cleanup was great! We could not have been more pleased with our interactions with everyone involved with our waterproofing project. Thank you American Waterworks!

I had my sagging living room propped up with a support beam. I also had a sump pump installed with a drainage trench all around the basement floor. The Foreman, Cameron, and his crew, Dillan and Zach, were outstanding! Not only were they polite and hardworking, I could also tell they took pride in doing excellent work. My living room looks level and brand new! I am looking forward to never having to worry about a wet basement again. I am so HAPPY I chose American Waterworks!

The installation process for our project was very good. The guys worked hard all day! A system was displayed so each of them knew what to do and they all pursued it to the finish. Their foreman performed great work. He was well-mannered, neat, and respectful.

Our project was done December 3-4, 2018 in Blue Earth, MN. We actually live about 2.5 hours away, and it is difficult for us to get to Blue Earth often. We were not able to be on-site during the basement update, consisting of powerbraces and anchor. However, the project Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, did a great job calling us and advising us as the project was being worked. 1. He told us in advance of potential problems with venting and floor coverings in the areas being worked. No special efforts were needed. 2. He called us when the project was completed. 3. He told me the location of the powerbrace wrench, and gave me instructions on how to use it, along with some more helpful information. We made the trip to Blue Earth in mid-March, and the reinforcement braces and anchor look great! The installation crew did a good job of clean-up, and we are really happy with the work! We researched American Waterworks on the company website, and that was the factor in contacting your company. The Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, we talked with in October prior to the project was professional - no pressue. He was willing to spend several hours with us as we looked at the project needs. We had a discount for signing the day he gave us the estimate - nice savings, and we thought the price was competitive. Thank you!!

To whom it may concern,  We wanted to say thank you to your company! What a fine group of young men we worked with to complete our project. Starting with Rick Weber who was our sales representative, and Trevor and Brevan who fixed our basement problem. All three were professional, polite and did a great job! They are great ambassadors for your company. You are lucky to have them on the American Waterworks team!

My wife and I decided to go through American Waterworks to fix the foundation of our home, and I must say, they were absolutely phenomenal! We were more than satisfied with the job they did. They are worth every penny. They were very clean, which was a big concern for us. They were always on time and were very informative with what they were doing. Overall, they were very professional and our dogs loved the crew!  My wifeand I actually went to three different companies to fix our foundation and we are so glad that we went with American Waterworks. They did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form. I am happy to highly recommend them to anyone and everyone for their services!

It's a daunting feeling to find out your home was basically built wrong from the basement on up. You have no idea where to turn when multiple issues erupt if you've never dealt with that type of thing.  American Waterworks set themselves apart from the get-go. Two companies never contacted me at all after leaving my information online for an evaluation. American Waterworks contacted me almost immediately. My sales rep, Richie, was amazing; with a degree in construction management. He pointed out things immediately that weren't right, explained everything at a level I easily understood, as well as recognized what was causing major issues in my garage and basement, which others couldn't explain and come never noticed at all.  There was no slick dialogue, no pressure to sign a contract before he left. Unlike others, I felt I Could trust him. He was genuine. Instead, he took what he found to the team and they worked out the best plan for my particular home, for the most cost-effective plan, as there were multiple issues and he made another appointment with me. It was very evident that he knew his stuff.  Same with the work crew. They were polite, always masked due to the pandemic, always respectful and cordial. Their capability was obvious and they explained everything they were doing, used drop cloths and plastic to reduce the mess. The regional manager also came and got dirty with the rest of them, let his crew leave after a 13-hour day to let them go home and he kept working. He was intent on answering all of my questions, explaining all tasks at hand.  When the job took an extra day due to temperature and weather conditions, the bill didn't change from the estimate given; that doesn't always happen.  The regional manager himself, Sam, came back with another fellow to finish up and clean up. They were very thorough and cleaned up everything inside and out, did a final walk-through to answer any questions, and gave instructions on what to expect for each area that they worked on as far as concrete curing and soil setting.  American Waterworks took the fear out of what felt like a hopeless situation and fixed the issues that caused a cracked floor joist, a garage being pushed out of place by "street creep", and a buckling driveway. I know so much more about my home now and I feel the education they gave me will help me spot future problems more readily.  I will never go anywhere else for basement or foundation issues. Never. They weren't just good workers, they were good people, and that matters to me.

The people that did our basement were great. Communication was excellent on when they were coming and what needed to be done.

From the very beginning, I was contacted right away after reaching out regarding a repair project involving a wall of the apartment building which was bowing inward, resulting in structural instability and water intrusion into the apartment. Richie Noreen promptly came to the location in Crookston, MN and evaluated the situation, clearly explaining everything to me in an easy to understand manner. He gave me a thorough tour of the process, so I felt very confident in his expert professional assessment. He laid everything out from A to Z. Then, when it was time for the repairs to occur, the team really showed their expertise. Sam, Cory and the guys really impressed me. They got right to work and utilized the time masterfully. Instead of fretting about what might go wrong for the duration of the work, I had peace of mind that they had everything under control. It is such a relief to me that I found the right company! Once they waterproofed, straightened the bowing wall and anchored it, they poured a new concrete sidewalk, which grades away from the building, and cleaned up everything so well that it's hard to believe they had just dug everything up! I wasn't left with anything to clean up! Needless to say, I'm a very happy customer and I highly recommend American Waterworks if you are looking for a job done right and peace of mind.

Our installation crew was amazing! They braved a steep hill, a blizzard, near gale force winds, and mud- lots of heavy frozen clay mud. They were all very courteous, and given the weather conditions, it was even more impressive. They were also very knowledgeable and conscientious throughout the whole project. They kept us informed along the way. Cleanup was beyond satisfactory. Nothing was left behind, not even a scrap of paper. They did a lovely job.
