Egress Window Well Installed in Maplewood, MN

A homeowner in Maplewood, MN, had been thinking about installing an egress window for a while so that her family would have a means of escape in case of an emergency. In a couple of weeks our Design Specialist, Brad W, arrived at the home to inspect the basement. The homeowner had informed Brad which window she would like the egress to be installed and Brad quickly worked on a design and solution for the homeowner. In about a month, our Foreman, Francisco E., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by digging out the soil outside of the window to ensure there was enough space where the RockWell would be placed. Then, the original window is removed and replaced it with a larger window to ensure that it remains up to code. After this, the RockWell is placed down and attached to the foundation. Lastly, the crew installs the safety cover to keep leaves and debris out. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
