Our production team started the installation by removing the old sump pump and the concrete around the perimeter of her basement where the WaterGuard drainage system needed to be laid. They installed our TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump. The WaterGuard properly guides the water leaking into her basement to the sump pump. Then, they replaced the concrete over the drainage system and around the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the installation by installing four of our SmartJacks down the center of the basement to raise the sagging ceiling. Next, our crew broke out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to form a trench. A homeowner from Milltown, WI, was dealing with an outdated sump pump. The sump would continually cycle, even when there was no rain. The homeowner grew tired of repeatedly hearing the pump cycle, so he decided to look into other waterproofing solutions for his basement. After perusing the internet, he found our website. Daniel took his time with his inspection. When he was done, he met with the homeowner to inform him that he believed that there were three products in our inventory that he believed would fix the problem. First, Daniel recommended the installation of our WaterGuard. This unique french drain system gets installed below the slab of the basement floor and atop the footing of the foundation, keeping it out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. This drain works to collect water entering from holes and cracks in the floor, giving it a channel to flow to the sump pump. Because of the severe deterioration of the old sump pump, Daniel recommended the use of our TripleSafe sump pump. For this reason, Daniel recommended our AprilAire dehumidifier. Adding an Aprilaire dehumidifier creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% RH. The homeowner agreed with Daniel's recommendations and scheduled the job for several weeks later. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Jeremiah F, led his team through the successful installation of 132ft of WaterGuard, 1 TripleSafe pump, and 1 AprilAire dehumidifier. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his waterproofing issue is solved!
