Our Foreman, Chris Newton, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which serves as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and prevents water and mud clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up and act as an extra wall protectant. To complete the installation, our team filled the open trench gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. In Glenwood City, WI, a homeowner learned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US and can be found in homes. Concerned their family was unknowingly breathing in the toxic fumes, the homeowner decided to test the radon levels in their home. After a couple of days, the test results were above 4pCi/L, and the homeowner knew it was time to get a radon mitigation system installed. In less than a week, our Design Specialist arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection. During the inspection, they took a close look at the layout of the home and determined the best placement for our radon mitigation system. In about a month, our Foreman, Dakota M., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by installing PVC piping through the sump system. Then the fan is installed at the exterior of the home. These are then connected, and additional piping is attached from the fan to the roofline. This is installed this way so that our system can suction out the radon-rich gas and expel it above the roofline before it can enter the home. Once they were done with the installation, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. Then, they replaced the concrete over the drainage system and around the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Then, Edgar and his crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and acts as an extra wall protectant.
