Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Cody L. of Grand Forks, ND had a damp basement and he wanted to get it waterproofed before it got any worse. He did some research on HomeAdvisor and came across our profile. He requested a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to his home to inspect his problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough inspection, Cody was comfortable with the proposal, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the installation be breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain, prevents water clogs, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold, humidity, rot, and mildew, and it covers any divots or big holes. To complete the installation, our crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. A homeowner in Grand Forks, ND, went to their basement following heavy rain and stumbled across a frightening surprise. The homeowner discovered their basement had flooded and the walls were damaged. Once Emmanuel and his crew received the plans, they traveled to the home and began the project. First, Emmanuel and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Next, the crew focused on digging a feedline across the basement to connect the two water systems. Then, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Finally, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly waterproofed. Andrew in Winthrop, MN had water leaking through his block foundation where the wall meets the floor. He had a working sump pump already in place, but without a drainage system the water had no way to reach the pump. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to develop a solution for Andrew. Andrew agreed with this solution, so our production crew started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard. Then, they laid the WaterGuard drainage system and filled back the gaps with rock. They connected the drainage system into the existing sump pump and then replaced the concrete. This process only took a day to complete, and now Andrew is enjoying a dry, healthier basement.

Our WaterGuard collects water seepage from basement walls and acts as an underground drain that leads to outside. Lastly, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
