Ian went to her home, carefully inspected her basement water leaks, and drew up a plan that would fit her home repair needs and budget. She was confident in Ian's write-up of our WaterGuard Drainage System and our SuperSump Plus M53 and got all of her questions answered, so she went ahead with the installation and got a date scheduled to complete the project. 

Our installers, Austin Cunningham and Charlie Coleman, started the project by introducing themselves to Everet and ensuring all of her questions were answered. After a thorough introduction, Austin and Charlie began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which as an underground drain alternative, collects water leaking from basement walls, and protects the home from water or mud clogs. Next, our team installed our SuperSump Plus M53 in the corner of the basement, which works collaboratively with our WaterGuard and keeps the basement clean and dry, especially during harsh weather conditions. To complete the project, Austin and Charlie filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the basement was cleaner than when they found it.

Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew put the TripleSafe sump pump into place. Then, the crew dug a buried discharge line outside the home. Finally, the crew installed an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. The crew wrapped up production and cleaned up their job site. A Town Home association in Delano, MN had a situation where water was leaking into the basement of a tenant’s Town House. They reassured that tenant that they would resolve the situation as quickly as possible, so they contacted American Waterworks to waterproof the basement.

The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. This keeps the drainage system out of the “mud zone”, where drains can clog. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump system which is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The water now properly flows through the drainage system and is then discharged from the home through the sump pump. Bill is now enjoying a dry, healthier basement!
