Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate and met with Pete Wangen, one of our Design Specialists. Pete designed a thorough plan that was specific to John’s waterproofing needs, and John decided to move forward with the installation of our waterproofing system.

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the room and laid our WaterGuard drainage system. This system guides water properly to the SuperSump sump pump, which then discharges the water to the outside of the building. Then, the crew installed our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to protect the walls from any water seepage and prevent mold growth. John was pleased with the results and glad he made the investment to protect his building.

Bill S. in Owatonna, MN had water leaking into his basement where the floor met the wall. It had started to create a musty smell, and he wanted a permanent solution. After a friend recommended American Waterworks, he gave us a call and set up an appointment to meet with Chad Johnson, one of our Design Specialists. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Then, the crew connected the WaterGuard to a SuperSump sump pump and hung our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls for a bright, clean look. Bill was pleased with the results and glad he no longer has to worry about a wet, unhealthy basement! 

Jodie S. of Bagley, MN had water leaking throughout her basement, causing him to worry about water moisture, mold build-up, and humidity. She got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to her home, carefully inspected her water leaks, and came up with a solution that worked for her needs and budget. Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production crew started the installation by cutting out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain that connects to the sump pump, and collect leaking water from basement walls. Then, Ryan and his team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, cover any holes or divots, and it gives the space a clean and neat appearance. To complete the installation, our team covered the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it, making the basement look neater than when they found it. Matthew L. of Bagley, MN had water seeping into his basement and had foundation cracks in his exposed basement wall. Our office staff got in contact with him and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie. Richie went to his home and inspected his basement leaks and foundation cracks. Richie proposed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe for the water leaks and our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System for the foundation cracks. Our Foreman, Ryan, and his production crew installed six of our CarbonArmor with epoxy resin. This system is designed to stabilize and strengthen foundation walls and is 10 times stronger than steel. After the installation, it becomes part of the wall structure and can be painted to match the color of the wall. Next, our team installed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain Pipe around the floor perimeter, which collects water from basement walls, stays out of the mud zone, and requires no jackhammering. Since this foundation's floor and footing comes as one piece, DryTrak was the correct interior drainage system to use. Cindy, from Plummer, MN, was looking for some solutions for her home's basement space. The basement was experiencing water intrusion and cracking foundation, so she decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property. Following a thorough inspection, Ian gave his recommendations to Cindy, suggesting that she invest in our WaterGuard system as well as our SuperSump Plus. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. Our Foreman and his crew began implementing our WaterGuard System. From there, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus Sump Pump to the feedline. Our crew filled the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. 

After all was said and done, Cindy was glad she made the decision to call American Waterworks and had her peace of mind restored.
