Donna S. in New Prague, MN contacted American Waterworks after seeing our advertisement in the newspaper. She was concerned about the water that was leaking through cracks into her basement, and she wanted someone to look at her crawl space. She met with one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, who assured her that we could permanently waterproof her basement with our WaterGuard and TripleSafe waterproofing system.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing our WaterGuard drainage system and recommended TripleSafe sump pump. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there is expelled from the home. Next, they removed debris from the crawl space and laid the drainage matting. Then, they completed the project by encapsulating the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the space from moisture, mold, and pests. Donna was happy with the results, and glad she can enjoy a dry, clean basement and crawl space!
A homeowner in Clearwater, MN, was unhappy with the status of the crawl space in their home. Instead of ignoring the issue, the homeowner sought professional assistance. Unsure of where to find assistance, the homeowner searched online for the company best fit. The homeowner's attention eye caught our high reviews and ratings, so they looked a little closer into our company. After further research, the homeowner knew we were the best fit for the job. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate and prepared for the arrival of Shane, one of our Design Specialists. After the greetings, Shane began the estimate of the crawl space. When he completed the estimate, Shane determined that the crawl space should be encapsulated. The homeowners agreed and the project preparation began. Our crew arrived at the home and began by clearing out the debris in the crawl space. Once the area was cleared, the Drainage Matting could be laid on the crawl space floor. After the Drainage Matting was laid down, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl space walls and floor. In addition to CleanSpace, the crew installed Foamax on the crawl space walls. After the crawl space was fully encapsulated, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. The homeowners were grateful for the crew's excellent work. American Waterworks is happy to assist another customer.
Missy T. of Cushing, MN had water seeping into her crawl space, causing her to worry about pests, water moisture and humidity, and the overall value of her home. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to her home, carefully inspected her crawl space, and drew up a detailed solution that would fit her home repair needs and budget. Missy was excited about the proposal and was confident in our products, so she signed the contract, filled out a deposit check, and got an installation date on the schedule.
Our Co-Foreman, Aaron Engen, and his crew began the project by installing our CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is a heavy-duty protectant that is used in the encapsulation process to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Next, our team installed our SmartDrain Drain System, which is a crawl space drain that includes a bottomless liner and an airtight lid. If a plumbing failure occurs, our SmartDrain will drain the water beneath the vapor barrier, preventing it from collecting in the crawl space. Lastly, our team applied spray foam around the floor cracks, which provides a dry and warm crawl space, while also reducing energy costs. Missy was happy with the work that was done and had a great experience from start to finish!
