This beautiful crawl space transformation comes to us from Webster, MN. Originally lined with rock, it was time for a transformation to keep moisture out in the summer and heat in during the winter. In just one day, American Waterworks was able to install our most trusted TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace high-performance moisture barrier and drainage matting system to align with the homeowner's waterproofing and energy efficiency goals.
A homeowner in Charles City, IA had moisture in his crawl space and was concerned that the air quality of his home was being compromised, so he contacted American Waterworks. After our Design Specialist thoroughly inspected the crawl space, he determined that the customer would benefit from having his crawl space encapsulated. The homeowner agreed and moved forward with the installation.
Our production team installed drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, Foamax walls and our spray foam rim joist insulation. These products work together to keep moisture, pests, and potential mold out. They also help make the space more energy-efficient. The project took less than a day, and the homeowner is confident his crawl space will remain a stable, healthier and more energy efficient space!

In the trench, our team installed 54 feet of our WaterGuard System which serves as an underground drain and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our SuperSump Pump M53, made to pump water out efficiently and keep areas clean for long periods of time. Lastly, our team applied 189 feet of our Foamax Wall Panels around the wall perimeter. Our Foamax reduces moisture condensation and provides extra comfort from any further damage.
