A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property to complete his inspection. Once he concluded, he recommended the use of our PowerBrace system, steel I-beams that will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustments. Richie informed Jeremy that our PowerBraces have the option to be tightened over time, giving them added effectiveness. Jeremy agreed with Richie's recommendations. A homeowner in Hector, MN, was rummaging through their basement when they noticed a concerning large crack along their back foundation wall. Knowing they couldn't fix this on their own, the homeowner decided to look for professional help. The crew began by installing eight GeoLock anchors along the east and south foundation walls. Additionally, the crew installed four PowerBraces on the west foundation wall. The homeowner also requested that the tightening kit be included, so the walls can be straightened gradually over time. The crew successfully stabilized both walls and finished the project. Tom and Cindy S. in Hector, MN had a bowed foundation wall in their basement that needed to be looked at. We sent out our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, for a Free Estimate to figure out what the best solution would be. Shane had to take off the wood wall panels to see what the wall looked like, and he determined that wall anchors were the best way to fix the repairs. 

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew began the installation by digging 5 small holes outside of the house parallel to the bowed wall and inserted long, metal rods through the foundation and into the soil. Then, they screwed on and tightened anchor plates on each side enabling the wall to straighten out. Our anchor system is made with a 25-year warranty and is corrosion-resistant. After the installation, Tom and Cindy were happy with the work that was done and love their new wall!
