Mrs. H of Mason City, IA had cracked foundation walls in her basement and she was worried about the stability and structural hold of her home. She got in touch with our office and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to her home, carefully inspected her foundation walls, and drew up a solution that worked for her and her needs. Mrs. H was confident in our proposal, so she moved forward with the project and scheduled a date for the installation.
Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his production team began the project by digging six holes outside of the home, beyond the foundation. Next, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our team installed an anchor plate to hold the rod in place. From the inside of the basement, our team installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor on each rod to stabilize the foundation wall. This combination allows the wall to straighten back into its original position. To complete the installation, our team backfilled the holes, packed the dirt with soil, and ensured the yard looked better than when they found it. Mrs. H had a wonderful experience and was very satisfied with the work that was done!

A homeonwer in Le Center, MN, noticed their walls were beginning to tilt inward. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with answers. After looking into "what are the signs of a bad foundation?", one of the items that grabbed their attention was a blog discussing "Stages of Wall Movement", written by American Waterworks. After reading about the different stages and how they can help, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Lance. A few days later, Lance promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the foundation. During his inspection, Lance confirmed that several walls were suffering from settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Lance recommended stabilizing the walls with GeoLock Wall Anchors. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Lance's proposal. Next, Lance and the homeowner worked together to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. Lane and his crew secured six GeoLock Wall Anchors along the south wall. Once the GeoLock Wall Anchors were secured, Lane and his crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing their foundation was properly secured.
Anthony W. in Le Center, MN had multiple cracked walls in his basement. He was worried that these cracks would cause the walls to bow, which would put pressure on his foundation. He wanted to repair his walls before his problem got worse, so he contacted American Waterworks to learn more about our foundation repair solutions. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to provide him with a solution and a FREE estimate. Anthony was impressed with our products and our team, so he scheduled the installation.
Our Design Specialist recommended having wall anchors installed along the cracked walls to permanently stabilize the foundation. Our production crew started the installation by drilling 13 long, metal rods through the brick wall into the soil surrounding the home. They secured both ends of the rod with anchor plates and tightened them. These anchors can continue to be tightened over time to gradually straighten the wall. Anthony's walls became permanently secured with the installation of these wall anchors. He is glad he made the investment to protect his foundation for the long-term.

While searching for local contractors on Google, he came across American Waterworks. He called our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared.
