Growing Wall Crack Repaired in Mason City, IA

A homeowner in Mason City, IA, knew it was time to repair their cracked, separating walls. Knowing they could not solve this issue on their own, the homeowner began looking into "cracked foundation repair near me". One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our excellent ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the ideal candidate for the project. Since they were already on the website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set with our Appointment Center, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric, to the home to take a closer look. After taking a closer look at the walls, Eric noticed signs of early wall failure. To stop the wall failure from progressing, Eric recommended installing our GeoLock Wall Anchor system on the struggling wall. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Eric's proposal. Once they gave Eric their stamp of approval, Eric passed the proposal along to our Logisitcs team to approve and build the plans. After the plans were finalized, the project was scheduled and the plans were assigned to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. Once the project date arrived, Raul and his crew traveled to the home and began the installation. First, Raul and his crew ensured the foundation walls were prepared for the installation. Once the walls were ready, the crew was able to install five GeoLock Wall Anchors on the west foundation wall. After the crew finished the installation, they were able to clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing their foundation was permanently secured.

Severely Damaged Foundation Restored in Mason City, IA

Melissia T. in Mason City, IA was suffering from a flooded basement and a severely damaged foundation. Melissia called American Waterworks in hopes that we could come to her home soon and install our waterproofing system and repair her foundation. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to her home to develop the best solution for her home and provide her with a FREE estimate. She enjoyed working with Dylan and she was pleased with his plan to restore her basement, so they scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew started installing our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier system along the walls. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure that water will be properly discharged from her basement and that it will remain a dry and healthier space. Then, they installed 5 PowerBraces along the damaged foundation wall to halt any further movement and stabilize it. PowerBraces also provide the potential to straighten the wall as they are tightened over time. Melissia was pleased with the results and is glad she chose to invest in the protection of her home.

Foundation Wall Repair in Mason City, IA

Mrs. H of Mason City, IA had cracked foundation walls in her basement and she was worried about the stability and structural hold of her home. She got in touch with our office and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to her home, carefully inspected her foundation walls, and drew up a solution that worked for her and her needs. Mrs. H was confident in our proposal, so she moved forward with the project and scheduled a date for the installation.

Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his production team began the project by digging six holes outside of the home, beyond the foundation. Next, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our team installed an anchor plate to hold the rod in place. From the inside of the basement, our team installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor on each rod to stabilize the foundation wall. This combination allows the wall to straighten back into its original position. To complete the installation, our team backfilled the holes, packed the dirt with soil, and ensured the yard looked better than when they found it. Mrs. H had a wonderful experience and was very satisfied with the work that was done!

Not only do we perform work in foundation repair. We also provide services in basement waterproofing, crawl space repair/encapsulation, radon testing/mitigation, and concrete repair/lifting. Call us today to learn more or click HERE to request your free estimate!
