Alton in Albert Lea, MN had large cracks throughout his basement walls. He was concerned about the pressure that was being placed on his foundation and wanted to secure his walls before the damage became any worse. He contacted American Waterworks and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete Wangen, to his home to inspect his situation and provide him with a FREE estimate. Pete determined that we would be able to permanently repair his foundation by installing PowerBraces, which is a much more cost-effective solution compared to replacing the foundation. Alton was pleased with Pete’s solution, so they scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his crew installed 7 PowerBraces against the walls. PowerBraces are strong steel I-beams that have a special rust-resistant zinc coating to ensure that your system will look and perform like new for years to come. By installing the PowerBraces, we immediately halted the inward movement of the foundation walls. The PowerBraces should be tightened over time, which can gradually straighten the walls. Alton was pleased with the end result and he is glad he chose to permanently restore his foundation.

Our CarbonArmor Strips are 10 times stronger than steel and were once used for bomb shelters, bridges, and tall buildings. Brittany and Matt R. of Mayer, MN had cracked and bowing foundation walls in their home, making them worry about the structural build and safety of their home. They went online and came across our website on Google. After looking through our foundation repair products, they saw that we provide FREE Estimates for all of our services. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to their home, carefully inspected their foundation walls, and came up with the solution of our GeoLock Wall Anchors to solve the problem. Brittany and Matt were comfortable with Shane's proposal and the product, so they signed the contract and went ahead with the installation.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrbuias, and his crew began the installation by digging seven holes outside of the home, beyond the foundation. Next, our team drilled a long, medal rod from the inside of the home to each hole outside. Once they found the end of the rod in each hole, they screwed on and tightened an anchor plate, which tightly holds the rod in place with the soil. Our team screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Anchor to the ends of each rod inside of the home to strengthen and straighten the foundation wall back into its original position. To complete the installation, Jesus and his crew backfilled each hole and made sure the soil was tight and compact, leaving the yard looking much neater than when they found it. Brittany and Matt were happy with the work and could not believe it only took one day!

A customer in Annandale, MN, was enjoying the summer on the lake but noticed their boat house walls were cracking. Wanting to save the structure, the customer searched for a solution. After seeing the excellent work we have done in their area, the customer decided to work with us. After his in-depth inspection, Shane determined that the walls required permanent stabilization. The customer agreed to Shane's suggestions and the job preparation began. After the PowerBraces were installed, the crew provided the customer with a tightening kit. This kit allows the walls to straighten over time.
