Brittany and Matt R. of Mayer, MN had cracked and bowing foundation walls in their home, making them worry about the structural build and safety of their home. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew. Shane went to their home, carefully inspected their foundation walls, and came up with the solution of our GeoLock Wall Anchors to solve the problem. Brittany and Matt were comfortable with Shane's proposal and the product, so they signed the contract and went ahead with the installation.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrbuias, and his crew began the installation by digging seven holes outside of the home, beyond the foundation. Next, our team drilled a long, medal rod from the inside of the home to each hole outside. Once they found the end of the rod in each hole, they screwed on and tightened an anchor plate, which tightly holds the rod in place with the soil. Our team screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Anchor to the ends of each rod inside of the home to strengthen and straighten the foundation wall back into its original position. To complete the installation, Jesus and his crew backfilled each hole and made sure the soil was tight and compact, leaving the yard looking much neater than when they found it. A customer in Annandale, MN, was enjoying the summer on the lake but noticed their boat house walls were cracking. Wanting to save the structure, the customer searched for a solution. After seeing the excellent work we have done in their area, the customer decided to work with us. After signing up for their FREE estimate on our website, the customer prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Shane. Once Shane arrived, he began the inspection of the boat house. After his in-depth inspection, Shane determined that the walls required permanent stabilization. The customer agreed to Shane's suggestions and the job preparation began. Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew were assigned to the job. After they arrived, the crew began by installing eight PowerBraces on the west and east boat house walls. After the PowerBraces were installed, the crew provided the customer with a tightening kit. This kit allows the walls to straighten over time. Homeowners in Saint Hilaire, MN had a deteriorated foundation wall that they wanted to get fixed up and repaired. They found American Waterworks online and contacted our office staff through our online chat. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house to inspect their foundation wall and determine a solution. After a thorough inspection, the homeowners were confident in the proposal, so they went ahead with the project.

Tharese W. of Saint Joseph, MN had a bowing foundation wall and damp floors throughout her entire garage. She called American Waterworks to schedule a FREE Estimate to get it thoroughly diagnosed and inspected. Jared Bruns, one of our Design Specialists, went to Tharese's home, thoroughly examined the foundation wall and garage leaks, and proposed a couple of solutions that would work for her and her budget. Tharese narrowed the solutions down and chose the one that best suited her and her home repair needs. She signed Jared's proposal, wrote out a deposit check, and scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team started the project by introducing themselves to Tharese and ensuring all of her questions were answered. After a thorough introduction, our team got to work and broke out the concrete floor perimeter of the garage, forming a waterway trench. Our team installed 110 feet of our WaterGuard Drainage System in the trench, which is made to transport water easier, prevent mud clogs, collect leakage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain that eventually leads to outside of the home. Next, our team installed 105 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, give the space a neat and clean appearance, and provide the basement with extra protection. Lastly, our team installed six of our foundation repair wall anchors from the outside the foundation to inside the foundation, which stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the walls to the soil. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides pressure against the inside of the wall. To complete the installation, our crew backfilled the soil from the anchor installation, and covered the open waterproofing gaps with pea gravel, followed by a new application of concrete. The job site looked much cleaner than when they found it, and Tharese was thrilled with the completion of the project!

Our Foreman and his crew began the installation by putting block wood over the cracked foundation and inserting five long, metal rods into the wall and tightening and screwing a wall anchor to each rod. This system stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. After the installation, the wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the wall and pull it back to its original position.
