Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Danielle B. in Geneva, MN contacted American Waterworks as a returning customer after being satisfied with some of her previous projects with us. She was interested in our SentrySeal and SilverGlo products to help with some of the insulation and moisture issues around her foundation. 

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew started the installation by digging out the soil surrounding the home. Then, they were able to install our SentrySeal Waterproofing Membrane to the exterior foundation and our SilverGlo Insulation System to hold back moisture and ensure energy-efficient insulation. SilverGlo combines highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. This gives the foundation walls an unbroken plane of R-11 insulation. Danielle was impressed with the quick installation, and his happy she chose American Waterworks for her foundation wall repair needs! 

Brian from Staples, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his basement ceiling was beginning to sag. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would run the risk of doing serious damage to the structure of his home, so he decided to call our office. We set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our Design Specialists. Shortly after, our Design Specialists, Kole, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he could make recommendations as to how we could help. Kole wanted to use our SmartJacks to correct the sloping. He explained to Brian that the SmartJacks can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary. Brian agreed with Kole's recommendation and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew finished the job swiftly. They ended up placing 13 SmartJacks around the basement of the home. Now Brian no longer needs to worry about sloping floors! 

A homeowner in Montgomery, MN had basement walls that were cracked and caving in. She called American Waterworks for a free inspection and we were able to design a plan to fit her specific needs. Our production crew installed wall anchors to straighten and provide support to her basement walls. They were very happy with the outcome of their project!

Jeremy assured Merle that we could permanently restore his foundation by installing wall anchors. Merle was pleased to hear this!

Our team installed 8 wall anchors by drilling small holes through the damaged foundation walls, inserting long metal rods and securing each end of the rods with wall anchors. The process took about two days, but now Merle's foundation is permanently repaired, and his peace of mind has been restored.

A homeowner from Waconia, MN, was getting his home ready for resale. Before he could list his home, he was aware of several issues that needed to be fixed so as to not hinder the sale. One of these issues was a large crack running lengthwise on one of the homeowner's basement walls. He had been aware of the crack for some time but knew it was time to take action. Once Ryan finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his findings. He explained that foundation walls are designed to support loads from above, not from the side. When side pressure on the wall exceeds its ability to withstand the force, it begins to crack, bow, slide in at the bottom, and/or tilt inward at the top. For this reason, Ryan recommended our GeoLock anchors. These anchors counteract soil pressure by anchoring walls to stable, undisturbed soil beyond the homes foundation. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's proposal and signed on the spot. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Jesus C, led his team through the successful installation of 7 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement of the home. Now, our customer can confidently list his home for sale, knowing everything is in tip-top shape!
