Betty J. of Pipestone, MN had water leaking through her walls, making her worry about water moisture problems and other water issues. She got in contact with American Waterworks because she already got foundation repair done by us (as shown). Our team installed our Foamax Wall Panels, which is a foam insulation that prevents water from seeping through the basement wall and saves lots of money on energy costs. It also gives the basement a bright appearance and makes it a more welcoming environment. Betty was thrilled with the work that our team did and could not believe how much of a difference it made.

Patricia, a homeowner in Carrington, ND was experiencing water intrusion in her basement and searching for a way to solve the issue. She decided to claim her FREE inspection. Our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property and completed his walkthrough; after making recommendations as to how American Waterworks could help, Patricia consulted with her son and decided to move forward with the project. Work began shortly after.
First, our Foreman and his crew added our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor, but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. It works to trap water and sends it to an appropriate disposal site; our TripleSafe sump pump was used as an effective and economical sump solution. Next, the team installed Basement To Beautiful panels where the WaterGuard was installed. Even if you're not planning on finishing your basement, lacking proper insulation can still lead to cold floors and an inefficient home, and our Basement To Beautiful™ Basement Wall Panels are the superior choice for a dry, energy-efficient basement. Finally, they installed our CleanSpace solution instead to encapsulate the basement to prevent moisture and mold from affecting the rest of the foundation.
The team finished cleaning everything up, and Patricia was thrilled and impressed with the project from start to finish!

Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent mud and water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water leakage from basement walls. Next, our production crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump, which is designed to keep basements dry and works effectively with our WaterGuard. Lastly, our team applied our ShotLock Wall Restoration System around the basement wall perimeter, which is a spray-on solution that offers a fast alternative to demolishing and rebuilding a deteriorating foundation. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Megan and Andrew were happy with the repairs and had a great experience from start to finish!

Our Foreman and his production team began the project by breaking out the floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain. This drainage system is the most common drainage system we provide for homeowners because of its easily accessible service ports and its ability to collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. This vapor barrier is designed to prevent mold and humidity, save money on energy costs, and give the basement a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is the best sump pump that we provide for homeowners because it triples the protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery back-up. Our battery back-up is designed to keep the sump pump running if there was a power outage. To complete the project, our Foreman and his crew filled the open-floor gaps with rock and applied new concrete over it. William and Heidi were both happy with the project, and had a great experience from start to finish!
