Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Grand Forks, ND, was investigating their basement following a heavy rainstorm. Unfortunately, the homeowner made a startling discovery, their basement was suffering significantly from water damage. The homeowners wanted to solve the issue as soon as they could, so they called the highly-rated waterproofing repair company in North Dakota, American Waterworks. Next, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Kole, to arrive. Kole introduced himself to the homeowner and began the inspection. Following the inspection, Kole told the homeowner the water was coming in from the North and West basement walls. To stop the water from sneaking in, Kole recommended waterproofing those walls. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Kole's recommendations. Next, the plans were approved by our office and then sent to our Foreman, Roel, and his crew. After they received the plans, Roel and his crew traveled to the home and began the project. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard along the north and west basement walls. Next, the crew tied the WaterGuard to the existing sump system. Then, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfished section of the basement. Once the CleanSpace was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying 104 feet of our Waterguard drainage system. Next, the crew installed our UltraSump sump pump and battery backup system and 2 feet of our Cleanspace vapor barrier along the walls. Any water seepage coming through the wall will be directed down into the drainage system, guided to the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Marge is happy with the project and her peace of mind has been restored, knowing her basement will remain dry!

Richie went to their home, carefully inspected their problems, and came up with a solution that worked for them and their home repair needs. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent mud and water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water leakage from basement walls. Next, our production crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump, which is designed to keep basements dry and works effectively with our WaterGuard. Lastly, our team applied our ShotLock Wall Restoration System around the basement wall perimeter, which is a spray-on solution that offers a fast alternative to demolishing and rebuilding a deteriorating foundation. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.
