A homeowner in Courtenay, ND, was relaxing in their basement when they noticed wet spots throughout their floors. Concerned about the severity of the leak, the homeowner immediately reached out to American Waterworks to have them conduct an inspection. Design Specialist, Dylan, completed the inspection and returned with a possible solution. Dylan recommended the WaterGuards be placed around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowners consented and the project began. To properly install the WaterGuard, the crew began by demolishing the fireplace. Then, the crew dug out and installed the WaterGuard. Following the WaterGuard installation, Foamax was installed on the basement walls. The crew completed the construction successfully. The homeowners were happy that their basements was waterproofed before the damage could grow.

Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent humidity and mold, and serve as an extra wall protectant. In the perimeter trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System in connection with the feed line. Next, Matt and his team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, and act as an extra wall protectant. Then, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is provided with three layers of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. Lastly, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Our wall anchors are embedded in stable soil outside of the foundation wall and is connected by a long, medal rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps throughout the trench and feed line with rock and applied new concrete.
