Design Specialist, Dylan, completed the inspection and returned with a possible solution. Dylan recommended the WaterGuards be placed around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowners consented and the project began. To properly install the WaterGuard, the crew began by demolishing the fireplace. Then, the crew dug out and installed the WaterGuard. Following the WaterGuard installation, Foamax was installed on the basement walls. The crew completed the construction successfully. Lastly, our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Our wall anchors are embedded in stable soil outside of the foundation wall and is connected by a long, medal rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. To complete the project, our crew covered the open gaps throughout the trench and feed line with rock and applied new concrete.
