Water was leaking through the floor of Debbie and Pete K.'s cabin in Garrison, MN, causing them to worry about water damage. They went on HomeAdvisor and came across American Waterworks so they got a FREE Estimate scheduled with our Design Specialist, Shane. Shane went to their cabin, inspected the water leaks, and proposed the solution of our WaterGuard Drainage System. Debbie and Pete were happy with Shane's proposal so they signed it, wrote out a deposit, and got a date scheduled for the install.
Our Foreman, Edgar, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. Our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System in the trench, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water leaks from basement walls. To complete the installation, Edgar and his team covered the open-floor gaps with river rock and pea gravel and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean.

Tammy R. in Hastings, MN noticed dampness in several areas of her basement that started to cause damage to the foundation and create a musty smell. She was concerned about the air quality of her home and started to do some research. She was glad to learn that American Waterworks is the leading contractor in basement waterproofing in the region and gave us a call. We sent our Design Specialist to her home to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution to fit her needs. She approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation date.
Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and the production crew started the installation by removing concrete and laying 158 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump and our Basement To Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels. Lastly, the crew installed our Battery Backup System to ensure lasting reliability and to keep the sump pump running efficiently and effectively. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, and Tammy is glad she made the investment to protect her home.

A customer from Hastings, MN, got in contact with us when she began to their basement was becoming drafty and cool, even in the winter months. Our customer was concerned that her home was steadily becoming energy inefficient. When she called in, we set her up with our FREE estimate, which entitled her to a thorough inspection into the issue by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist headed out to the property to take a deeper look at the problem. When he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could help remedy the issue. He explained to our customer that the water intrusion and draft could be attributed to her basement windows, as they were older and outdated. He recommended she invest in our EverLast window and SunHouse. He explained that these double-paned windows would stop water intrusion at the source. The SunHouse window well cover brings natural light in and keeps cold winter winds from blowing against the panels. The customer agreed with our recommendations and work began shortly after.
Our construction crew, led by Foreman Tremaine, ended up installing 3 of our EverLast window wells and SunHouse window well covers throughout the basement of the home. Once work was completed, the homeowner was happy to know that her drafty and energy-inefficient worries were in the past!
A Lino Lakes, MN, homeowner was facing an issue with his basement. The downstairs bedroom had been taking on water for some time, leading to overly saturated carpets, musty odors, and more. The homeowner was unsure of who offered interior waterproofing MN, but quickly found our website and signed up for his FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nick S, was headed out to the home. When Nick arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the bedroom to see how bad the problem was. When he finished, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. First, Nick recommended our CleanSpace, a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly onto the unfinished walls of the basement. This innovative product works to direct intruding water from the wall down and into a perimeter drain, our WaterGuard. This French drain gets installed below the floor of the basement, but atop the footing of the foundation to keep it out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog, leading to a flooded basement. The homeowner was thrilled with Nick's recommendations and the two worked together to find the best day for the installation.
On the day of the project, our Foreman, Arturo M, and his team installed 24 ft of our CleanSpace and WaterGuard, successfully restoring our customer's trust and confidence in their home!
A homeowner from Circle Pines, MN, faced a unique basement issue. The basement would be subject to leaky walls and standing water each time it rained. The homeowner was worried about what water damage could do to the property's value, so he decided to look into MN basement waterproofing. When he found our website, he was impressed with other jobs we had done in the area and decided to claim his FREE estimate.
Our Design Specialist, Jesse W, headed out to the home several weeks later. After performing a thorough inspection of the home, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Jesse began by recommending our WaterGuard drain system. This unique French drain gets installed below the floor of the basement but atop the footing of the foundation. This placement keeps it out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. This drain works to catch water entering the space through holes and cracks in the floor, giving it a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. While performing his inspection, Jesse noticed that the basement lacked a sump pump, so he recommended our SuperSump system, a reliable yet economical choice for ridding your basement of unwanted water. The homeowner was thrilled with Jesse's recommendation and signed for the project on the spot.
Several weeks later, our Foreman, Jorge M, and his team successfully installed 28ft of WaterGuard and 1 SuperSump in the space. Now, our customer can enjoy all the perks of a dry basement!
