A homeowner in Wilson, WI, began hearing odd noises in their basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find the source of the noise. During their investigation, the homeowner discovered the noises were coming from their sump pump. The homeowner grew concerned their sump pump was in serious trouble. Knowing they could not solve the issue, the homeowner began looking into "sump pump replacement near Wilson, WI". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. After they saw our five-star reviews and impressive ratings, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chuck, to the home to take a closer look at the issue. During his inspection, Chuck confirmed the sump pump was suffering significantly. Chuck recommended replacing the sump pump with one of our elite sump pumps and installing several waterproofing products. The homeowner knew this was their best plan of action, so they decided to go ahead with Chuck's recommendations. Next, Chuck passed the plans onto our Logistics team to build and approve the plans. Our Logistics team scheduled the project and assigned it to our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. A few weeks later, Lane and his crew traveled to the home to begin the waterproofing installation. First, Lane and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent transformation made by the crew. American Waterworks is delighted to assist its homeowners in repairing their water-damaged basement and sump pump.
Annalora W. of Wilson, WI had water leaking into her basement, causing her to worry about water moisture, mold build-up, and other problems. She found an American Waterworks advertisement in her local newspaper, so she called the office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Mac Cole. Mac went to her home, inspected her basement, and drew up a solution that worked for her and her home repair needs. Our Foreman, Chris Newton, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which serves as an underground drain, collects water seepage from basement walls, and prevents water and mud clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up and act as an extra wall protectant. To complete the installation, our team filled the open trench gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Annalora was confident with the repairs and had a great experience with our team!

Jeremy from Glenwood City, WI got in touch with us when he began to notice unwanted water entering his basement. He was afraid that if left untreated, the problem would worsen and cause serious damage. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate and shortly after our Design Specialist, Mac, headed out to the property to see what could be done. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. Mac wanted to use three of our products to rid the space of water. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to redirect water. Mac explained that this tarp-like material gets installed directly onto basement walls and works to direct the flow of water down to his second recommendation, our WaterGuard French drainage system. He went on to say that the WaterGuard is installed below the concrete flooring and works to direct water to the appropriate location. For that location, Mac recommended a SuperSump sump pump. He explained that this effective and economic solution is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for an extended period of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion, as it's capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul, and his team ended up installing 78 ft of our WaterGuard drainage system, 1 SuperSump sump pump, and another 78 ft of our CleanSpace. When the job was complete our customer was happy to know he no longer had to worry about water entering his basement.
Shonna L. in Rollingstone, MN had water seeping into her basement and her old sump pump was not able to keep up with the amount of water coming in. Her basement had become a damp, musty and unlivable space. She was tired of dealing with a wet basement, so she started to research waterproofing contactors in her area. She found the American Waterworks’ website and was impressed by our extensive waterproofing knowledge. She had us out to her home to look at her basement and provide her with a free estimate. After inspecting her basement, our Design Specialist, Dustin Loftus, was able to develop a thorough and unique plan to waterproof her basement. She was pleased with his proposal, so they set a date for our production crew to install the waterproofing system.
Our production team started the installation by removing the old sump pump and the concrete around the perimeter of her basement where the WaterGuard drainage system needed to be laid. They installed our TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump. The WaterGuard properly guides the water leaking into her basement to the sump pump. Then, they replaced the concrete over the drainage system and around the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Shonna can rest easy knowing her basement will always be protected. She is glad she chose to invest in the long-term protection of her home.

Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. He also broke out a trench down the middle of the basement to form a feed line. The feed line serves as a guide for water to get to the sump pump. In the perimeter trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water leaking from basement walls. Then, Edgar and his crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and acts as an extra wall protectant. It also gives the room a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete. Janet was happy with the work that was completed and had a remarkable experience!
