Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Valley City, ND had water leaking into their basement, making them worry about the safety of their home. They got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully inspected their problems, and proposed a solution that would work for them and their needs. They were confident and comfortable in our proposal, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, TrenchDrain with Trench Lock, as well as concrete replacement. Our WaterGuard serves as an interior drainage system that collects water leakage from basement walls and guides water to the sump pump. Our CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that prevents water from seeping through the walls and saves money on energy costs. Our TrenchLock is a system that blocks unwanted ground air and gasses from entering the basement. Lastly, our crew applied new concrete over the broken-out concrete to ensure the basement was neater and cleaner than they found it.

Jody K. of Lidgerwood, ND had water leaking from the bottom of her stairs throughout her basement, making her feel nervous about water moisture and humidity problems. Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and is designed as an underground drain. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter of the basement, which is made to prevent mold, mildew, and humidity and covers any divots or holes, while also giving the basement a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, Ryan and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Jody was happy with the work and was grateful we were able to help her and her home repair needs!

Dawn N. in Garvin, MN contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She had water seeping into the basement, and she wanted to permanently fix the problem. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Reed Hudson, to evaluate the situation and propose a unique solution for her home. Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to create a trench. Then, they laid the WaterGuard in the trench and installed a SuperSump sump pump. They filled back the gaps with rock and then replaced the concrete around the sump pump and over the WaterGuard. Water now properly drains to the sump pump through the WaterGuard. The water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Dawn’s peace of mind has been restored, and she can now enjoy a dry, healthier basement for years to come!

To complete the installation, Tremaine and his crew filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.
