Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Dennis M. was suffering from water leaking into his basement during heavy rains. He called us to receive a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to inspect his wet basement and design a solution. Jeremy worked with Dennis to develop a unique plan for his specific needs. Dennis liked the proposal and felt that he was in good hands with American Waterworks, so he moved forward with waterproofing his basement.

Our team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and lateral lines that connect the drainage system to the sump pump. When water leaks into his basement, it is now properly guided through the WaterGuard, to the sump pump, and then the water is pumped through the discharge line to the outside of the home. John of Conger, MN had water leaking through his bowing foundation walls and needed repair done right away. After seeing American Waterworks on channel 3 KIMT TV News, he called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist went to his home to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. John felt comfortable with the proposal so he went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard, which is an underground drain that collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our SuperSump Sump Pump which is designed to keep basements dry for long periods of time. Next, our crew applied our CleanSpace Wall System around the basement walls which is a plastic vapor barrier that prevents mold and humidity build-up and serves as an extra protectant. Lastly, Hugo and our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilize and straighten the walls back into their normal positions. To complete the project, our team filled the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. John's peace of mind was restored and he felt much more safe and comfortable living in his own home!

Pell J. in Madison Lake, MN had water leaking into his basement. He was concerned about the air quality in their home and the damage that the water was causing. Joe, from Bertha, MN, got in touch with us when he had enough of dealing with unwanted water intrusion in his basement. He wanted to know what could be done, so he called our office and we set him up with our FREE  estimate. A few weeks later one of our Design Specialists, Daniel, headed out the property to assess the situation.
