Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Clear Lake, IA, was clearing out their crawl space when they noticed it was falling apart. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner began searching for a solution. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner waited for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan. As soon as he arrived, Ryan began his thorough investigation of the crawl space. Ryan confirmed the crawl space needed to be encapsulated and was able to provide them with a detailed proposal. The homeowner agreed with the proposal, then it was sent to our office to be scheduled and approved. The office built and scheduled the project, then it was assigned to our Foreman, Matt, and his crew. Matt and his crew traveled to the home and started the crawl space encapsulation. First, the crew began by clearing the crawl space. Next, the crew laid Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Then, the crawl space is installed CleanSpace on the crawl space walls and floors. Finally, the crew installed Foamax on the crawl space walls. Matt and his crew cleaned up the materials, then cleaned up their materials and left the home. Caitlin, a resident of Waldorf, MN, realized that her crawl space needed some attention. Our Foreman and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. They then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier that gets installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. Next the team added our SmartDrain, which helps fully waterproof the crawl space. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in. Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. Now, Caitlin's crawlspace is protected, and we improved her peace of mind.
