Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Once the crawl space was cleared, the crew shifted to laying Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Once the Drainage Matting was laid, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the floors and walls. After the CleanSpace was attached, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. A homeowner in Hope, ND, decided to investigate the status of the crawl space in their home. As soon as they entered the crawlspace, dust and dirt erupted in their face. Disgusted with the status of the crawlspace, the homeowner wanted to encapsulate it. Once the crawlspace was cleaned out, the crew installed drainage matting and laid CleanSpace to seal the crawl space. Next, the crew applied Foamax on all interior foundation walls except where the crawlspace and basement meet. Finally, the crew applied SprayFoam on the exterior walls, except where the crawlspace and basement met. First, Ian recommended our drainage matting; a dimpled matting that gets installed onto the floor of the crawl space, giving any excess water a route to flow through the space and be disposed of at an external site such as a drain or a sump system. Ian's second recommendation was our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp that works to trap any excess moisture in the space, redirecting it to the appropriate disposal site. Our customer agreed with the recommendations and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Jeremiah, and his team ended up installing 1938 sqft of the CleanSpace and a 4' tall Half Wall System in the crawl space. They also worked on installing two of our SmartDrains throughout the crawl space.
