Sharon from Garrison, ND got in contact with us when she began to make plans to transform her backyard by adding a deck. Sharon had experienced soil sinkage in her backyard before and wanted to build her deck, knowing that it would be stable for years to come. When she called our office we set her up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property to see what preventative measures could be taken. Once he finished, he recommended the use of our helical piers to add stabilization and support for the eventual deck. Ian explained that our helical piers help pull the pier into the soil during installation and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundational or structural element is transferred to the pier. He went on to say that the installation is fast, effective, and perfect for stabilizing lighter structures. Sharon agreed with Ian's proposal and work began shortly after.

A homeowner in Ashley, ND noticed the back foundation wall began to crack in his basement. After attempting alternative home remedies, the homeowner contacted us for a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, James went out to the property to complete his inspection. Once he concluded, he was ready to make recommendations for the home. He wanted to solve the issue by installing the PowerBrace system, to which the homeowner agreed. Franklin and his crew installed 14 of our PowerBraces to stabilize the basement walls. Furthermore, the crew installed the Aprilaire dehumidifier to address excess moisture in the space. Following the installation, the homeowner found peace of mind knowing his foundation walls were secured and the problem was resolved. 

A homeowner from Ashley, ND got in contact with us when they began to notice standing water present in their basement. Wanting to get control of the situation before it could worsen, they decided to reach out to American Waterworks to see what could be done about the situation. Our Design Specialist, Kole, headed to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended the use of several products to correct the situation. He informed them that the water entering the space was likely through holes in the failing foundation. Kole wanted to utilize our GeoLock Wall Anchors, CleanSpace system, WaterGuard drain, and our TripleSafe sump pump. He explained that other than the wall anchors, all three waterproofing systems work hand in hand to ensure that the basement stays dry. The Clean Space, a 100% waterproof tarp-like barrier, gets tact to the wall to direct water entering through the block wall, directing it down to the WaterGuard drain system. The homeowner agreed, and work began a few weeks later. 

Our Foreman and his team made quick work of the installation. In the end, they installed 20 GeoLock anchors, 89 feet of WaterGuard, 1 TripleSafe sump, and another 89 feet of CleanSpace around the basement. Now our customer can enjoy their basement worry free!

These steel l-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter, more vertical, and improve stability.
