In about a week, our Design Specialist, Daniel R., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Daniel took a close look at the basement, taking note of the areas with water leaks and testing the humidity levels in the home. After reporting his findings to the homeowner, Daniel began working on a detailed solution to waterproof the problem areas. He recommended installing WaterGuard, an interior drain system that directs water leaks to the sump system, and CleanSpace, our vapor wall liner that prevents water vapor from permeating the walls and directs any leaks to the drainage system. Happy that our products come with a warranty, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.

A Saint Paul, MN, homeowner was facing a unique issue. Each time it rained, he could see water entering through a corner of his basement, creating a small puddle. The homeowner didn't want that small puddle to turn into a larger issue, so he decided to contact a reputable basement waterproofing company in MN. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our. Design Specialist, Derek V, headed out to the home.
When Derek arrived, he got right to work inspecting every inch of the basement. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Derek explained that water problems commonly occur in the corner of the room and that the homeowner was right to call when he did. Derek wanted to use two of our products to address the water intrusion. First, he recommended our WaterGuard drain, explaining that it's the most effective way to stop basement flooding. The WaterGuard is a French drain that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. Because of its placement, the drain stays out of the "mud zone" where other drains tend to clog. It works to catch water entering through the floor, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which Derek wanted to be our SuperSump plus. Our SuperSump sump pump is an effective and economical solution to combat water intrusion. It's engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. It boasts a powerful Zoeller 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of the two products working together, and decided to schedule her project for some time later.
When the day of the project rolled around, our team, led by their Foreman, Victor S, effortlessly installed 100ft of WaterGuard, and 1 SumpSump sump pump in the basement. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without worries that it will end up in his basement!

Following a series of heavy thunderstorms, a homeowner in St.Paul, MN, noticed their basement was suffering from water intrusion. Worried this could lead to serious issues, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. After looking into "who to call for a basement leak", the homeowner's attention was caught by us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our near 5-star rating, the homeowner knew that we were the ideal company to complete their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent our Design Specialist, Dustin, to the home to take a closer look. Once Dustin arrived, he began the detailed walk-through. Once the inspection was complete, Dustin recommended waterproofing the entire basement. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommended plans. Next, Dustin and the homeonwer worked together to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, Lane and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Lane and his crew started by securing WaterGuard around the basement perimter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Finally, the crew wrapped up by attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished walls. The homeowner was delighted to know their basement was properly secured. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.
A customer from Maplewood, MN, got in contact with us when he began to notice unwanted water on the floor of his basement. He was afraid that if he didn't take action and correct the issue, it would continue to damage his property, making any potential resale tough in the future. When he called in, our Appointment Center set him up with our FREE no-obligation estimate. Once the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist headed out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could best help the situation. He began by explaining to the homeowner that the water was intruding through a crack in the wall. He wanted to address the issue by installing our WaterGuard french drainage system. He wanted to pair this product with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. He explained that the CleanSpace vapor barrier is a tarp-like material that works to trap any water entering the property behind it, draining it down the plastic and into the WaterGuard drainage system that lies beneath the floor, catching the water driven downwards by the CleanSpace. The customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew ended up installing a foot of WaterGuard and CleanSpace under and on top of the problem wall. When the work was completed our customer was happy to know he could go back to enjoying his basement, completely moisture free!
Micela and Will from St. Paul, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice that their basement wall was beginning to show signs of bowing. They were afraid that if they left the issue unresolved, they could face serious damage to the structural integrity of the home. When they called in, we set them up with our FREE estimate, entitling them to a thorough, no-obligation estimate by a member of our Sales team. Shortly after scheduling, our Design Specialist, Michele, headed out to the property to do a walkthrough. Once he completed his inspection he was able to make his recommendations. He recommended our GeoLock wall anchors to fix the situation. He explained that these locks will permanently stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home. He went on to say that, as the house shifts and settles more, the anchors can be tightened to give homeowners peace of mind for years to come. The couple agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Raul and his crew installed 5 of our anchors throughout the basement. Once the job was complete, the couple was happy to know they didn't need to worry about their foundation anymore!
