Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Fairmont, MN, was distressed when they discovered water in their basement. After Dylan completed the detailed estimate, he determined that the basement needed to be fully waterproofed. Not wanting this issue to become reoccurring, the homeowners agreed. The plans were sent to the assigned crew and job preparations began.  Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the project. First, the crew started by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. After the WaterGuard was properly placed, the crew dug a line across the basement to insert the feedline. Then, the crew removed the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. On the outside of the home, an IceGuard was attached to the outside discharge line. Finally, the crew installed CleanSpace on all the basement walls. The crew cleaned up any excess water and materials. A business owner from Fairmont, MN, was facing a serious issue with his basement. Then, they installed 2 IceGuards as well as the TripleSafe and Dehumidifier. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Cynthia A. of Hoffman, MN was having water issues in her basement, causing her to worry about the value of her home. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied fresh, new concrete over them, leaving the basement looking nice and clean. A customer from Saint James, MN got in contact with us when he had enough of unwanted water and moisture finding its way into his basement. He feared that if he left the issue unresolved, he could run the risk of developing mold and bacteria or damaging the structural integrity of the home. He began by informing the homeowner that water was entering the basement through cracks and porous holes in the wall. He said we could fix this issue by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along with our WaterGuard drainage system. He explained to the homeowner that the CleanSpace is a tarp-like material that gets tacked to the wall. It works to catch any water entering the home through the wall, directing it downwards. He went on to say that this is where the WaterGuard comes into play. This drainage system lies beneath the concrete of the floor and catches water dripping down the wall, directing it to the appropriate disposal site. The customer agreed with our recommendations and work began shortly after. 

Our construction crew, led by Foreman Lane, ended up installing 100 ft of both the CleanSpace and WaterGuard throughout the basement of the home. When the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that no more unwanted water would find its way into his basement!
