Jennifer V. of Hillsboro, ND had water seepage in her basement, and she wanted to get it fixed before it got any worse. She knew of our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz, so she set up a FREE estimate with him to come inspect her basement. After a clear and in-depth inspection, Ian proposed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, both of which work hand-in-hand to prevent basement flooding. Jennifer was confident with the products, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, making a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which prevents water and mud clogs, collects water leakage from basement walls, and is our most common interior drainage system. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire wall perimeter. This barrier is designed to prevent moisture, mold, and mildew, saves money on energy costs, and provides a neat and clean appearance to the basement. To complete the installation, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them.
Jennifer was happy with the work that was done and had a great experience! Is water leaking into your basement? Look no further and request your free estimate today by calling our office line or clicking HERE!
Andy, from Adams, ND was worried about the moisture and humidity in his home and wanted a more functional, dry basement space. He wasn't sure of the best approach to take to make this happen, so he called our team to claim his FREE estimate. Design Specialist Ian then headed out to her property to complete our inspection. Once he finished the walkthrough, Ian showed Andy why she needed a better way to filter the moisture and keep it outside her walls. Andy was confident in the proposal and got all of his questions answered, so he signed the contract and set up a date for the installation.
Our Crew, lead by our Foreman Tanner, installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard collects water leakage from basement walls, serves as an underground drain, and prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone. Our crew then installed our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity, acts as an extra wall protectant, and covers uneven surfaces. Lastly, Tanner and his team updated Any's sump pump by installing our adding new hardware into the existing super sump and connecting it to the feedline. Specifically, the team used our UltraSump Battery Backup System. In case of a tripped circuit, power outage, or dump failure, this backup system is a heavy-duty battery backup that can pump more than 11,500 gallons of water on full charge. Once installed, to round out the installation, our team filled the old sump pump space with rock, applied new concrete, and ensured the space was left clean, dry, and ready for Andy! Andy was very pleased with the work and was happy to know he no longer had to worry about basement waterproofing problems.
Karen from Blomkest, MN, was having moisture issues in her basement. She was afraid that if the problem was left unresolved, she would run the risk of doing severe damage to her basement.
Our design specialist, Skylar, visited the property and recommended that the customer invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and making it harder to clog.
Foreman, Arturo, and his crew headed out and got started on making Karen's home a drier, safer place to live. First, our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
The drainage system now properly guides water to the Super Sump Plus pump, which pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Karen was pleased with the results and is glad her basement is now a dry, healthy space.

In that trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System which serves as an underground water drain and prevents water clogs. Next, Juan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner of the basement. Our TripleSafe is one of the best sump pumps we offer to customers and provides three levels of water protection. To complete the project, our team covered the gaps with rocks and replaced the concrete. Mark and LuAnne were pleased with the outcome, and appreciated the work that was done!
Raquel in Bird Island, MN had water seeping through her block foundation in her basement. She started researching professional waterproofing contractors and found American Waterworks’ website. She was impressed with the projects we had completed and wanted to learn more about our waterproofing system, so she contacted us for a FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to her home to inspect her basement and provide her with a solution.
Raquel was impressed with our waterproofing system, so she decided to move forward with the project. Our production crew started the installation by removing the perimeter of the concrete floor to create a trench for the WaterGuard drainage system. They installed the SuperSump sump pump in the corner of the basement and then laid the drainage system in the trench. The WaterGuard connects to the sump pump so water can properly exit the home. The installation only took a day to complete and she was pleased with the result. She is glad she chose to invest in the long-term protection of her basement!
