A homeowner from Glenville, MN, was growing frustrated with his damp basement. It had been hot and humid for years, and in the interest of one day selling the property, the homeowner decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Glenville, MN. When he found our website, he decided to sign up for one of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady, headed out to the home.
Once Brady concluded his inspection, he informed the homeowner that his professional recommendation would be to install our Basement to Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels. Brady explained that unfinished basements are notorious for lacking proper insulation, leading to cold floors, humid basements, and inefficient homes. Basement To Beautiful™ Basement Wall Panels are the superior choice for a dry, energy-efficient basement. Designed with the unique, advanced SilverGlo™ graphite-infused foam insulation, this insulation provides 24% more energy savings than conventional foam products. At 2 ½" thick and R-13 insulation, Basement To Beautiful™ panels create a warm, protective blanket around your basement that will never rot or support mold growth. The homeowner agreed with Brady's recommendations, and the job was scheduled for a few months later.
On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Francisco, and his team ended up installing 79 ft of our Basement to Beautiful panels. Now, our customer can enjoy his home, knowing it's functioning efficiently!
Ken L. in Glenville, MN was concerned about the air quality in their basement. He had their basement tested for mold by another contractor and they confirmed that they did in fact have mold. They removed the mold and recommended that he look into having his basement waterproofed. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to their home to inspect his basement and design the right solution specific to their waterproofing needs. Ken was pleased with our thorough plan to waterproof their basement, so he chose to move forward with the installation.
Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor and drilled small holes through the wall which released the water that was built up. They laid the WaterGuard drainage system and installed the TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump system. The WaterGuard now properly guides water to the sump pump and the water is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Lastly, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system which protects the basement from humidity and future mold growth. They replaced the concrete and the project was complete! Ken’s basement has been completely transformed to a dry, healthier space, and his peace of mind has been restored.

Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the process by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier which is made to prevent any mold or humidity build-up, cover any holes or divots, and give the space a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, Corey and his crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump which is made to keep basements dry for long periods of time. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the solution by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is an interior drain that works efficiently with the sump pump. Our WaterGuard prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone and it collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which prevents mold, mildew, and humidity, it guides the water into the WaterGuard System, and it gives the space a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, Corey and his crew installed seven of our PowerBraces around the wall perimeter, which is a patented wall repair system that is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten the wall over time. To complete the installation, our crew covered the open floor gaps with river rock, applied new concrete over it, and did a final walkthrough with Chad to make sure he was happy with the outcome, which he was!
