Glen B. in Waverly, IA had been suffering from a wet basement for quite some time and decided it was time that he took action to protect his basement. During heavy rains, large amounts of water would leak into his basement and it had damaged his property, so he contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, went to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. Glen liked the proposal that Mac presented, so he decided to move forward with having our waterproofing system installed.
Our production team installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system around the basement floor. Then, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump. The WaterGuard properly drains water to the sump pump and from there, the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our WaterGuard drainage system is guaranteed for a lifetime, so Glen is confident that he chose the right waterproofing solution to protect his basement.

Mike H. in Hopkins, MN was suffering from a failed sump pump. His old sump pump was no longer functioning, and moisture was accumulating around the sump pump, creating a musty smell. He began to look for companies that install new sump pumps, when he came across the American Waterworks website. He gave us a call to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to his home to inspect the situation and provide a solution. Our production team removed the old sump pump and installed our SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. It is capable of pumping 2,200 gallons of water per hour out of the home. Mike was pleased with how quick the installation was, and he now has peace of mind that his basement will remain a dry, clean space.

A homeowner in Hopkins, MN, grew concerned regarding the status of their sump pump system. If the sump pump fails, it could lead to substantial issues. The homeowners began searching for the best waterproofing company in their area. After seeing the highly rated and reviewed American Waterworks, the homeowner decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dylan. After he arrived, Dylan completed the in-depth estimate of the sump pump and basement status. Dylan determined that the sump pump needed to be replaced. Following his diagnosis, Dylan suggested a solution that would replace the sump pump and waterproof the affected room. After hearing Dylan's suggestions, the homeowners knew that this was their best option and agreed with his plan. The suggested plan was then directed to the assigned crew and preparations began. Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the installation. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard on the perimeter of the basement room. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew could remove the old sump pump and replace it with the SuperSump. On the outside of the home, the crew installed the IceGuard on the discharge line. Finally, the crew completed the project by installing CleanSpace on the basement walls. The crew finished the installation and cleaned up their materials. The homeowners were impressed with the job well done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide another homeowner peace of mind.
Kira L. of Hopkins, MN had water leaking throughout her basement, making her worry about the value of her home. Our Foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production crew began this installation by cutting out the concrete perimeter of Kira's basement, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed 146 feet of our WaterGuard System which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team applied 146 feet of our Foamax Wall Panels around the wall perimeter, which prevents water exposure and protects the basement from any further damage. Lastly, our crew applied 146 feet of our spray foam around the ceiling perimeter to keep cold air out, while providing more energy. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the existing concrete. Kira was extremely happy with the work and could not have asked for anything more!
Dorothy, from Adams, MN was worried about the moisture and humidity in her home and wanted a more functional, dry basement space. Dorothy was confident in the proposal and got all of her questions answered, so she signed the contract and set up a date for the installation.
Our Crew, lead by our Foreman, Juan, installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard collects water leakage from basement walls, serves as an underground drain, and prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone. Our crew then installed our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity, acts as an extra wall protectant, and covers uneven surfaces. Lastly, Juan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which provides two pumps and a battery back-up, comes with three layers of water protection, and will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. To round out the installation, our team filled the old sump pump space with rock, applied new concrete, and ensured the space was left clean, dry, and ready for Dorothy! Dorothy was very pleased with the work and was happy to know she no longer had to worry about basement waterproofing problems.
