Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Eric. A few days later, Eric promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During his inspection, Eric confirmed the sump pump was on its last leg. To prevent this issue from worsening, Eric recommended taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe. The homeowner agreed, and they worked with Eric to assign the best installation date. Once the installation date was set, the plan was sent to our Foreman, Chris, and his crew. When the installation date arrived, Chris and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Chris and his crew started by taking out the old sump pump. Next, the crew installed the TripleSafe sump pump in its place. Once the TripleSafe was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Jordan P in Austin, MN was suffering from water leaking into his basement during heavy rains. He wanted to have his basement repaired as soon as possible, so he started looking for a waterproofing contractor. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete Wangen, to his home to inspect his basement and provide him with a solution. Pete designed a thorough plan that was specific to Jordan’s waterproofing needs, and Jordan decided to move forward with the installation of our waterproofing system.

Our production crew installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system into the concrete floor and connected it to a TripleSafe sump pump, which is our most reliable sump pump. The TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection which includes a battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge. The water leaking into Jordan’s basement is now properly guided through the WaterGuard drainage system into the sump pump. From there, the water gets pushed through the discharge line to the outside of the home. Jordan is glad he chose a system that will protect his basement for the long-term.

A homeowner in Austin, MN called American Waterworks because she was getting water in the basement.  As the temperature was warming up and the snow was melting, water was pooling in the homeowner's basement. We got them set up for a free estimate to solve their water issue. Our design specialist came up with a personalized plan for the homeowner. On the day of the installation our crew arrived and began work. They started the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is designed to prevent water from seeping through the walls and save money on energy costs.  To finish up the project, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater and cleaner than they found it.

A follow-up call was made to the homeowner and they were very satisfied with the work that was done. The homeowner stated that the crew did a great job, was very clean and efficient.
