Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Cy S. in Viroqua, WI contacted American Waterworks because he had water in his basement and his new addition. He met with one of our Design Specialists, who proposed that the best solution was to install a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump. Cy is pleased that his basement is now a dry, healthier space and he is glad he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his home.

Residents of Strawberry Point, IA wanted an interior drainage system installed in their basement, so they called American Waterworks to tackle the project. Our Design Specialist went to their home for a FREE estimate, inspected the space they were working with, and determined a price. After a clear inspection and estimate, the homeowners decided to move forward with the project. 

Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which serves as an underground drain that prevents mud clogs and catches water leakage from basement walls. Once the product was installed, our team filled the open gaps with river rock to prevent dirt from invading the WaterGuard and applied a new layer of concrete over them.

Larry and Beth of Warrens, WI had an annual maintenance performed by our Service Technician, Darin. Darin noticed that water was seeping through Larry and Beth's foundation walls. Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team began the installation by installing four of our SmartJacks down the center of the basement to raise the sagging ceiling. Next, our crew broke out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor to form a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, made to collect water seepage from the walls. Lastly, Kiko and his team applied our CleanSpace Wall System, made to keep mold and humidity away from the basement. To complete the project, our team filled the open gaps with rock and replaced the pre-existing concrete. Nathan was amazed with the work, and was thankful we were able to safe the life and stability of his home!

To complete the installation, our crew filled the open trench gaps with rock and replaced the concrete.
