Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Sue A. in Sparta, WI was tired of dealing with a wet basement after heavy rains and snow melt. She had an older basement, and the water was seeping in through the small cracks where the wall meets the floor. She contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to meet with her and evaluate the situation. Rick designed a thorough plan and assured Sue that our waterproofing system would provide a permanent solution. 

Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Bryan’s basement by first removing the concrete around the inside perimeter of the basement. Next, they installed 78 feet of our WaterGuard drainage System and our SuperSump sump pump. Then, they installed two feet of our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls, filled the gaps with rock, and replaced the concrete. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard, to the SuperSump, and is quietly, and efficiently discharged from the home. Sue was thrilled with the results, and glad she chose to invest in a permanent solution for her home.  

Janice B. in Necedah, WI noticed a foul smell and rust-colored water building up in her yard and seeping into her basement, clogging the sump pump. Our production crew replaced her old sump pump and installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is backed by three layers of protection and can easily take on the challenge of iron ochre. Our sump pumps are able to pump out ½" solids without clogging. Janice was impressed with the installation and is happy knowing her sump pump is free of iron ochre infiltration. 

David and Heidi L. of Coon Valley, WI had their annual service appointment with our Service Technician, Darin. Darin examined their system and ensured everything was working properly. To complete the installation, our team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them.
